Pretty sure it was one of the Nightmare on Elm street movies. (The 2nd one I think?) I had no idea what was going on because I was 6 or 7 but it still scared the bajesus out of me. My older brothers (who were like 12-15) at the time loved the hell out of slasher flicks. Because this was the 80's you see, and that was the easiest way to see boobies.

Pulp Fiction. Me and a friend practically created the Church of Quentin on that movie.

"And Quentin descended upon thy sinner, and grabbed him by the jaw, staring at him with menacing, glaring eyes, and said, "English ************! Do you Speak it?!"

Predator - when I was 7.
watched it with my 'rents. Didn't affect me or anything.
The only movie that did was The Thing - when I was 8 and watched it on my own. Holy $h/* that was scary.

Must say though that it's done me well - I'm not scared by movies at all now.

Same here, although I only watched it up to after the first martian attack scene in the desert before I told my dad to turn it off. I had nightmares for weeks.

I had probably seen other R-rated movies before it, but I still distinctly remember watching Alien 3 on television in 1997, when I was 6 or 7, and being completely confused (and slightly exhilarated) by the violence on-screen. I'm still an Alien fan to this day.

First R-rated movie I ever saw in the theatre was the terrible Tim Robbins/Martin Lawrence comedy Nothing to Lose, also released in '97. My brother (who was three years younger than I), my mother, myself and my grandmother all sat in the cinema shocked at what we were watching, yet we still stayed through the whole film. LOL!

Robocop at a friends house when I was like 11. Predator 2 when I was 15 and my mum rented it for me.

My first R-Rated was Alien: Resurrection. I was 8 or 9 when I saw it and that was also when I fell in love with Winona Ryder.

My Grandmother and Mother were watching it in another room, I was supposed to be in bed, but instead stayed up and watched it through the door crack of the room. I had nightmares for awhile from the baby alien at the end. Worth it.

I was renting 18 certificate films back in the video tape era, when I was around 13. I was such a regular in the video shop/arcade and they knew my folks were alright with it so I bought and rented many. Not sure what the first one I ever saw was, but the earliest one I can accurately remember was Arnie's "Predator" which I watched around age 11ish at a friend's house. He had all the coolest computers, laserdisc player, etc which made him the coolest person I knew. Watched all the 18 certificate 80s action films during those halcyon years :)

We would also buy C64 games from Woolworths for a few pounds (a lot for us) and wait patiently while they loaded with all the coloured lines. I remember Outrun in particular, probably around where my gaming hobby was born.

I think that was Predator when I was little. My brother love to watch scary films when he was younger (no he wasn't 18 either) meaning I had to watched them too.
I suppose my first official 18 film as in watching it when I was 18 was one of Steven King past films when I rewatched them (I can't remember which new 18 films I watched when I was 18).
