I think it's interesting that during the war, with all the anti-German propaganda aimed at adults, the radio shows and comics aimed at children tried to show a different side to Germany, that it wasn't all bad, keeping in mind that the war will end and relations will eventually be normalised.

The problem is that that will be the first thing that comes to almost everyone's mind, even most Germans (if only because they are tired of living under the Third Reich's shadow). Someone will actually have to try to think of something after Hitler so they can say, "Hitler isn't the first thing to think about when you think of Germany."
