First thoughts when you hear germany?

beer. i think of beer and stereotypical eurotrash. not that i think germany is filled with eurotrash, its just the accent my mind apparently associates with it.

For no reason at all, the German flag.

Delicious beer! And the sweet, curvy, blond lassies carrying around two handfulls of those giant beer pitchers you see at Oktoberfest like it ain't a thing.

And then German tourists gaping in awe at a forest and stealing elk-danger signs as souvenires, possibly stopping to dig a hole in some beach somewhere.

Seriously, you can keep 'em, I love germans. <3

And the rather samey, boring countryside view of fields and farms going by the car window. It's got a charm of its own, but I can see why the tourists gets so excited by some greenery.

Actually I wonder,
how many here associate Berlin with Germany ?

The city or should I say the capital got so much hype
because of the art and club scene in the last decade....
