Maybe Narc... but the NES version was very censored unfortunately.

I can't remember which I played first.... so I guess it's either Wolfenstein or Mortal Kombat.

Half-Life 1. Which isn't surprising, considering it was my first shooter ever. I'll never forget seeing a laser cut that dead Barney in half after the incident.

I was playing Doom and Mortal Kombat II when I was five, but most of that didn't phase me. The first game to truly make me squeal in blood soaked childhood delight was Half-Life. I used to love to use the IMPULSE 101 cheat to get all my weapons early and kill my way up to the residence cascade, then quit playing as soon as the game became challenging, and this was when I was about 10.

Mortal Kombat or Starcraft, probably. Or Diablo.

And seeing as you all played these violent games at a very age, I can only imagine what awful effects they had on your poor minds! Oh wait, none really.

The original Mortal Combat, or Primal Rage. Oh I love Primal Rage. Now that I think about it though, Wolfenstien and Doom were pretty violent too, but really primitive so I don't really count them.

I forgot the name of it, a little fighter on the sega where each character had been pulled from a moment before their death for a chance to live again if they won a tournament. If they lost on their home scene you sometimes got a magnificent little anmation for their deat. One guy got torched at Salem, a detective got gunned down in chicago, a bunch of other stuff.
Thats Eternal Champions, which I would claim, but MK came first. I read through looking for Splatterhouse, which was horrifically violent, as I believe that came out in 1988, as one of my first truly violent if not first.

But I have to add Time Killers to the list as well.. not sure when that was off the top of my head, but it was definetly in the early years.

And whomever it was that said NARC... thumbs up to you. That may have been before Splatterhouse (not sure) so that could be mine as well. Throwing the bombs made plenty of bloody bits, too bad the remake was nowhere near as good. And graphically, it was grotesquely way ahead of its time. It looked really good.
