What the fuck is the concept of genders doing on this? Are you implying that there are no genders nor differences between men and women? Follow-up question: are you batty?

I'm sorry, but I can't just accept that elementary school poetry laced with constant cussing can be considered "music".
With the lone exception of rhythm, rap doesn't meet any "standards" of music.
I'm open to the possibilities of rap involving ACTUAL musical talent such as the Beastie Boys, but as of now, rap isn't considered a style of music to me.
I used to think similarly to you, but I realized that there is actually a lot of good hip-hop music and a lot more to it than you'd expect. I participated in a freestyle rap competition and it gave me a lot of respect for the musicians who could flow so smoothly, like these:
Also a lot of their lyrics deal with larger issues than the average rock song, so, there you are.

1. Religion - Pretty basic thing here. I suppose it wasn't necessarily an "invention" depending on how you look at it, but... Whatever.
2. Snuggies - ...No explanation required.
Ugh. Snuggies are awesome. Brings me to my list:
1. Self-righteous atheists who feel the need to point out their anti-religious views whenever the opportunity presents itself. Seriously, get over yourselves; religion, good or bad, has shaped the world into what it was today. The dark ages occurred because of the fall of the Roman Empire, not because of the Church. The power vacuum would have been filled by some king or another had the Church not stepped up to plate, and they would have oppressed learning and education to the masses just as much as, if not more than, the Church. Said Church also sponsored some of the greatest works of art in our world, as well as some of the greatest humanitarian works.
2. Bureaucracies of any kind. I hate red tape, more than anything in the god damned world.
3. the DMV as an extension of #2. Everything that happens there leads to misery.
4. Money, I guess. It's an archaic system that benefits few while disparaging many.
3. Nationalism and Ethnic pride-unwarranted pride in something that you had absolutely no say in the matter. Why are you so proud of being black/white/Korean/etc.? You didn't fucking choose to be. You were just born into that. Create an identity and legacy for yourself and be proud of those achievements, don't let the genetic and geological situation into which you were born into do define you.
