Flame Wars/Online arguments with REALLY stupid people that you remember fondly

Title essentially. We've all got a few, I hope.

I remember this one time, I was on... something or other, and there was this guy calling me a n00b for... some reason or other, and, like the hopeless idiot I am, tried to reason with him.

How naive of me.

He just kept insulting my mother. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Then he stopped and started insulting my literacy, despite the fact that he had misspelled almost every word. And then he called me a homo-******, to which I responded that although I was heterosexaul, some of my best friends were gay. And then I called him an ass and left the server.

Good times.

Back on GameFaqs when DA2 came out I made a vent thread due to the ending which rapidly devolved in flame war between the haters and fans.
I cant remember how but I ended up arguing with someone about the glitches who insisted that there were none as he/she had never experienced them, such shoddy reasoning didnt take me very long to defeat but even after Id tore them to pieces they wouldnt stop, they eventually just started replying with stuff like "so's your face" and "that's your mum said"- it would of been funny if hadnt been so pathetic.

I had someone on Youtube take it upon themselves to message me a very long, very poorly written paragraph on how I should "learn my history", because I said the Bible isn't suitable evidence of anything, and that trying to say it was proof of the Earth only being 4000 years old was stupid.

Cant remember where or when it was, but i remember disagreeing with some jewish woman i bumped into and ended up with her accusing me of hating israel, been worse thant hitler and hating every jews ever, all cause i didnt automatically agree with her opinion.
By the end she was literally foaming at the mouth about this and everyone around was practically laughing at her, i almost felt sorry for her at this point, but she was still calling me hitler so that didnt last long.

The above is a satirical gag at the common crap I have seen and endured. Nothing stands out as noteworthy though.

Who here remembers remember the Halo troll from way back?

There was this Halo hater that will make these 3 sentence long troll posts on how Halo was horrid here on these forums. This then sparked several flame wars between him and the community. Shortly after he got banned but every few days he will return with a slightly different username and say the same crap again. Despite being banned multiple times he kept coming back for about a month.

He eventually quit but left quite a mark on the community. People were still talking about his trolling and flame wars for months.

I had one guy argue with me that anyone who uses the internet for over 2 hours a day is obviously a creepy loner and a pedophile... over the internet... for at least 3 hours.

Just the sheer humour value of it made me unable to hate him, especially when he resorted to "i bet u like litle girls u fag!!!!!!!!!!!"

OT: An ex-friend of mine used to send me chain e-mails laden with religious rhetoric. I politely tried to tell him to exclude me from those e-mails, since I thought they were ridiculous. It soon turned into a flame war in which he accused of being a gullible, ignorant, liberal prick for telling him that religious texts are inaccurate source material for history, and that the notion that humans have always adhered to a single moral standard was a complete absurdity.

A few years ago I got very interested in the New World Order conspiracy theory, that we're being groomed into becoming a single state planet, ruled George Orwell style. I didn't believe in it myself but I thought it was interesting none the less, however nothing was as interesting as the people who believed in it. People dedicated to a cause that is mostly in their head. So once I posted my opinion of the matter on a Youtube video.

Let me tell you, hell hath not fury like an angry conspiracy theorist who has watched They Live way too many times.

Then again I'm sure if you asked them this question, they'd say I was the one trolling.

After proving all of his arguments invalid, I told him to use intelligent ones, to which he replied with a long, long trollish comment on my profile wall, filled with insults and hatred. I told him, that he just proven my point.
And now, the most hilarious part. His next comment.

Sounds like he had been hit with a major case of subconscious cognitive dissonance.

OT: I can't really remember specifics. I've trolled plenty of trolls in /Trade chat in WoW, but it has never really escalated into anything significant. Other than that, I don't typically engage in flame wars because I find people who actively flame others are usually as immune to logic as most trolls. It's probably part of the reason I often delete long-winded posts rather than post them on this site.

I took great pleasure in a particular post in the Religion and Politics forum. It was a standard Hiroshima thread. I made an assertion about Japanese culture at the time. Someone replied with how I was wrong etc and made an opposite assertion and said had fallen victim to propaganda. I whipped out my university student muscles and quoted primary and secondary sources all supporting my assertions, as well as references to propaganda which basically reiterated what he was saying. No response. And I took it that I had achieved absolute victory.
