With Infinity Ward being dumped by Activision I'd say it's unlikely we'll ever see it.

However this article...

...says that IW have handed over the MW3 torch to somebody else. Whether MW3 will ever become a reality, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

They were in the MW2 Prestige Edition.

£130 is far too expensive for me, I may buy the game but I'll wait for a few weeks to see what the multiplayer is like. I'll definitely be getting the more reasonably priced New Vegas Special Edition though, which comes out a few weeks before.

I've no idea, but since they were sold I guess they are legal. I've heard they weren't particularly good though, so maybe that's how they got them past the radar hehe.

Why are so many people saying it's overpriced?

You are getting an RC car with colour video and a microphone. Not to mention the game plus the other extras.

That is a damn good deal.

Now that I think about it, I guess it is. I think the shock comes from the fact that it's a special edition of a game that's nearly triple the price of the game on it's own. £80 for a remote control car is a good deal - assuming that it's a fairly good quality car.

The remote control car seems gimmicky and pointless, and I've always thought it's a bit presumptuous to release a 'special edition' at the same time as the actual game, because you don't have much of an idea of how people will like it.
