Sad thing is, I've seen many people saying how cool this is, and that they are totally getting it. Is it me or is this world's average IQ dropping by the day?

Actually it's rising sharply due to natural selection. People who're unable to process multiple streams of information at once are dying fast while people with those capabilities thrive.

Unfortunately, many of those people have ridiculous priorities and are fascinated by shiny things.
