Fantastic
"They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I told them I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard."
I know you're not meant to say if you have them, unfortunately, and those who give the badges presumably have the power to take them away.PsychicTaco115 said:I would like to earn some of the secret ones but they're"Awarded for meeting top secret requirements" and I don't know them. Also, does anyone really give them out anymore?
Seems like an older relic
I can understand that part but who's still checking to see if people DO meet the requirements?Barbas said:I know you're not meant to say if you have them, unfortunately, and those who give the badges presumably have the power to take them away.PsychicTaco115 said:Hey, it's me!
Someone on the staff does. Works more or less in the same way as the other badges. More than that I cannot say.PsychicTaco115 said:I can understand that part but who's still checking to see if people DO meet the requirements?Barbas said:Hallooooo!

*Snuffle, snuffle, snuffle, eeeeehhh*.
Yes, that badge too. Would be pretty awesome. And thanks!Zombie_Fish said:The Escapist Contributor. More for the ability to say that I've written an article here than for the badge itself.
EDIT: Also, if you want to see what badges are available, check here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.843741].
Yeah, after looking through that above posted list, I definitely got some envy here for that badge and then some...StormShaun said:The paragon badge from the Fable 2 quiz.
I don't know why, I just always like the look of it. Plus I already has the whole "goody-two shoes" thing goes on. So it would make a nice addition.
The first rule of the secret badge club is you don't talk about the secret badge club.Barbas said:I know you're not meant to say if you have them, unfortunately, and those who give the badges presumably have the power to take them away.
With cooperation, we can get you the pencil and fire ones easily enough. It's just a matter of time on those.FPLOON said:Any pony-related badge...The second pencil badge...The third flame badge...The PSN badge...A badge I contribute to making, kinda...Extra Credit badges...Those were the ones I could think of off the top of my head during my insomnia hours...
You mean the Halloween ones that spelled "FREAK"? They had some little orange badges that went with them, but I believe that as of Halloween this year they are no longer obtainable.1981 said:I don't really care for them either. Since you can't hide the widget, I'd like the number and letter badges so I could have foul words under my avatar.

edit: 5001 what?
If you give me your spin badge I swear I will go outside right now and plant a small tree in your honour.Barbas said:OT: I don't really think there are any. They're just a nice little thing the techs put together for the users.
Yep, just clicking on it gets you that one. Same with the red button badge (if you click that one enough times over the course of a week, you get a second iteration) and the Duck Tales badge.sky pies said:If you give me your spin badge I swear I will go outside right now and plant a small tree in your honour.Barbas said:OT: I don't really think there are any. As for an extra line of badges, I don't think I'd be behind that, I might think that too many badges could dilute any humor.

OT: I'd like Barbas' spinning button badge.
EDIT: EGADS I got the spinning button badge how the heck did that happen
And is there any reason why the first five badges in my profile are not the five badges under my avatar most of the time?Barbas said:Yep, just clicking on it gets you that one.
