Ok, on another thread about this, I translated the Russian at the end of each video.

The America trailer says:
"Destroy enemy hope of winning."


The British trailer says:
"Two, use everything to your advantage."

The France one says:
"Three, use the weakness of your enemy."

The Germany trailer says:
"Four, attack from an unexpected direction."

So, a list of how to fight a war effectively? Maybe a Russian campaign?

I know russian so when I heared the last line on each teaser I KNEW that there would be a WW3 with Russia in the conflict against France, Britain and USA.
What do they want from Russia?

Well, since the cold war, America has seen Russia as evil. This is the first thing America does in a war, demonize the enemy. They did this with everyone from World War II onwards.

But the russians are awesome!
I have an uncle that drinks vodka like water, he plays chess like a master and is a champ with poker. He tells me stories about the time he had in the red army, shit, I think I'm having a man-crush on my uncle.
The fact that they take on Germany, France, Britain and the USA PROVES THAT RUSSIA IS AWESOME.

I didn't say Russians aren't awesome. I am Russian. Kinda. Ukrainian. So, pretty much Soviet.

Propaganda like that is the first effort of any side during war; I'm sure if a more history inclined user were to check, you'd be able to find examples of such propaganda going as far back as recorded history.

Very true, I just remember they have done this to anyone they didn't like since World War 2. And the media definitely helps them with this.

Ok thats a step in the right direction, but whats Canada doing? Aparently we don't do anything even though Russia invaded through Canada.

Wouldent it be a cool mission if your a single Canadian Soldier and you have to sneak all the way through a invaded city (like Toronto) on your own. We do have an army so we would get involved somehow.

I do have to say that this is the first time a Call of Duty game has peaked my interest ever. Haven't bought a CoD game ever usually gifts or my lil brother buys them to play with his friends.

If these trailers are to go off anything, it does look like a step up from MW2, but I will not be blinded by hype again...

I have to say that this has me very interested. But, after MW2, I'm not keeping my hopes up.

But - I remember reading that this was meant to be set in 2012 - a year after MW, but 4 before MW2 - have the kept that, or not? (Over the last few days of "this is true, this isn't", I've kinda gotten lost.

If it is going to be 2012, the London bit would link in with the plot of MW2, when Makarov blew up a train in London (yes, I did read too much of MW2's back story...)

Concept wise? This looks interesting to me. Am I expecting it to be any good? To be completely honest, not really.

I could really care less for a Modern Warfare 3. Nearly half of Infinity Ward left the company, so you're missing half of the fucking team that made Modern Warfare 1 and 2. I'm not expecting it to be as good as the first two and I'm not planning on buying it. Me? I'm waiting for Battlefield 3. Never cared for the Battlefield games before, but EA is throwing a hell of a lot of money into it, and really putting a lot of effort into making a better game than Call of Duty.

I hate to be 'that guy', but here goes anyways.

I don't understand why they release these stupid campaign teasers before anything about multiplayer. 95% of the people who play Call of Duty play it solely for the multiplayer. I can't even imagine they'll continue making campaigns for Call of Duty much longer, or at the very least they would release single and multiplayer as separate packages.

It's Makarov explaining his new terror plot. Leaked info confirmed that you get a new american character(again), a new squad member for price, who dies near the end(again) and a guy who just shows up for one cutscene level and is murdered at the end(again). There's also going to be a token vehicle level(again).

No russian campaign.
