Ok, on another thread about this, I translated the Russian at the end of each video.

The America trailer says:
"Destroy enemy hope of winning."


The British trailer says:
"Two, use everything to your advantage."

The France one says:
"Three, use the weakness of your enemy."

The Germany trailer says:
"Four, attack from an unexpected direction."

So, a list of how to fight a war effectively? Maybe a Russian campaign?

Thanks for translating these! Figuring them out will have a lot of speculation. Hmmm... I might just have a few suggestions as to what they mean.

'Destroy enemy hope of winning.' Some major tactical thing in New York? Perhaps it means taking out Americas allies. In MW2 America was badly damaged so despite hope of retaliation 'Hey sarge when are we going to Moscow?' they will probably be very weak.

'Attack from an unexpected direction.' Nobody would expect Germany to be attacked because after WW2 its military was massively limited.

'Use everything to your advantage' Britain is home to Soap and Price, makes it a big revenge target since the SAS took out Zakhaev. Everything to your advantage..... tricky, maybe removing Americas most powerful ally? Britain didn't get damaged in either MW and their losses are only with the SAS so they will still have all their army and weapons.

'Use the weakness of your enemy.' OK France is not weak (I'm British BTW) but until Libya it has been very indecisive, maybe thats what the weakness is.


Now lets have a zombies mode where you play as Napoleon, Wellington, Kaiser Frederick the great and General Custer.

I know russian so when I heared the last line on each teaser I KNEW that there would be a WW3 with Russia in the conflict against France, Britain and USA.
What do they want from Russia?

Well, since the cold war, America has seen Russia as evil. This is the first thing America does in a war, demonize the enemy. They did this with everyone from World War II onwards.

But the russians are awesome!
I have an uncle that drinks vodka like water, he plays chess like a master and is a champ with poker. He tells me stories about the time he had in the red army, shit, I think I'm having a man-crush on my uncle.
The fact that they take on Germany, France, Britain and the USA PROVES THAT RUSSIA IS AWESOME.

how the hell does russia have the resources and manpower to invade what seems like half the world? by the end of mw2 their troops were running low on supplies, so a sustained war effort in multiple countries seems a bit.....unlikely. and unnecessary, i thought they only had a grudge against america for the airport attack?

Technically wasn't the original Slavic kingdom Kiev Rus based in the Ukraine? And after that the kingdom of Muscovy which would later become the Russian Empire gained all its legitimacy by playing off the image of Kiev Rus and claiming that the Rurikid tsar dynasty was descended from Vladimir I. So really the Ukraine is the birthplace of modern Russia haha.

I hope in the game the french voice acting will be done by, you know, French people and not Americans who speak (granted, a fairly acceptable) French.

Can anybody from Germany indicate if you can tell in the German trailer that the voice actors are not native speakers?

it's pretty garbled with static and only two short sentences but it could be natives. Still americans who speak good German is more likely, especially if they didn't put in the effort for french, and an american accent is pretty easy to mask in German if only speak a few sentences. Way better than making all the germans speak english in a ridiculous Schwarzenegger accent.

and while we are at it: seriously IW, you could think of absolutely NO famous German landmark to blow stuff up next to?
