For this last sentence, let me tell you, as a German, coming from a country that does nearly nothing else but apologize for something that happened 60 years ago, that I am deeply offended by your lack of knowledge about history and international politics, and that you, sir, are quite literally full of shit.
Thank you.
To the rest of the Americans here: This man and others like him is one of the reasons why anti-american sentiment is relatively strong today. At least with those who don't belong to some fundamentalist cadre.
1) we were piss that we were attack. I assume any country would be if this happen to them.
2) Bush acted out of to protect the country, since he heard that they COULD BE weapons there. I assume anyone would take the chance and look. Since in number one, we were attack and we wanted to get back at them.
3) We took out a dictator. Why should we be sorry about that? we free people from a evil man who most likely treated them like crap like any other dictator.
4)I stated if any country that did something wrong and said sorry, I said show me. You did not. So why should we say sorry when we just free a part of the middle east from a evil dictator?
This is very true. BBC is very reliable and unbiased. Both Fox and CNN are untrustworthy.oppp7 said:Feh, Fox is too right and CNN n NBC are too left. Watch the BBC if you want news...
No, it's just that Fox is so far right they think that all other media is "the librulz media out to get us".mspencer82 said:Fox News isn't any more slanted than the other networks; in fact they're less slanted than the likes of MSNBC. The main point of contention that people (including the ones complaining in this thread) have is that they're conservative.
See, you can be as biased as you want, but being conservative? That deserves crucifixion.
Does Amaerica get the BBC?oppp7 said:Feh, Fox is too right and CNN n NBC are too left. Watch the BBC if you want news...
Of course, they kept cutting off the man who knew what he was talking about. Fox News: Representing Both Sides of the Story, But Cutting Off Anyone We Disagree With.Outcast107 said:QFT. Just look at who owns the company Jeffery Immelt, he is LITERALLY on Obama's payroll as he is an economic advisor (I wouldn't have him manage anything considering that GE stock has fallen over 20% more that the rest of the economy since he became the CEO). Oh and do any of you who watch MSNBC know who Van Jones is? No? I didn't think so. It's not like the Green Jobs Czar matters...even if he is an admitted Communist and believes that humans should be forcibly sterilized in order to control the Earth's population. As far as CNN really they aren't terrible. Reasonably tilted to the left but that's fine...after all discourse is what makes America great.
I get BBC with Comcast Digital Cable. Not sure about the other companies.Megacherv said:Does Amaerica get the BBC?oppp7 said:Feh, Fox is too right and CNN n NBC are too left. Watch the BBC if you want news...
Say what? The United Kingdom has a population of 61 million and a land area of 94,526 sq mi giving it a population density of 637/sq mi. The USA population of around 300 million and a land area of 3,794,066 sq mi giving it a density og 80/sq mi. Nah, the UK is very much more densely populated - the most densely populated in Europe.Malevolent Stranger said:England's a lot less densely populated than America, and it would therefore take far longer.

It get's an occasional mention. It was ruled a homicide.yossarian787 said:for informative news, you should watch PBS: Public Broadcasting Station. My family switched to PBS after the first solid week of non-stop Michael Jackson coverage, wanting to know what was actually happening in, say, Afghanistan. It's amazing; completely different coverage from what you get on the "News Networks." They had a couple small segments a few weeks ago in which they interviewed Senators, one Republican and one Democrat, both of whom were actually involved in forming the health-care bill, and they gave both senators plenty of time to state their opinion of the bill as it was, and what they should do to make it better.
I haven't checked for a few days... are the other networks still on Michael's death?
1) Yeah, no shit they'd be angry. They typically don't go invade others without solid proof that the perpetrators were actually from that country, though. That's just stupid.Outcast107 said:1) we were piss that we were attack. I assume any country would be if this happen to them.

So....his preacher says something and you automatically take it as gospel for Obama's Opinions. Right so if one of your teachers thinks women shouldn't be allowed to vote I'd be perfectly fine in taking it as your opinion? Gotcha.Outcast107 said:He right. Obama preacher did say how America is awful and all the "white" Americans are racists.
What a testament to the American solution to things; if something is broke, just abandoned it and find something else./sarcasmAll I can say is, if you don't like America, that is fine, but don't live here if you hate it. Go somewhere else.
That's because you're a moron. See Obama apologising all the time has made other countries start to like you morons again. Bush went around for eight years with a baseball bat fucking everything up and Obama's the guy who has to go around apologising to everyone who had something broken.and I HATE! how he is going around saying sorry to every fucking country for America. It just showing weakness Imo.
See, five minutes of research could have proven you wrong here. Hell the Australian government apologised to the indeginious population over something that happened back in the 30s.Did any other country say sorry for when the did something bad? hell no.
