maybe so, but hypocrisy is what makes so many great conversations. at first i was just an angry escapist venting his feelings, with an impulsive 4chan attack I admit. now lets kill this. And Bowserboy, honestly, if you dislike this guy so much then why even bother looking at his videos, just forget it, because OBVIOUSLY no one cares, and nobody wants to hear you rant about something they hate and remind them of it.

Yaknow what though? There is also this guy named Cody Lawler, he goes to the escapist and his screen name is straitjacketeering, women should sleep with this man, for he has cool stuff.
Personally I don't really like Fred, but I actually think it's good that he has a million subscribers.
Why? Well let's put it this way... the people who enjoy that sort of thing are probably not people doing a whole lot. I mean they're most likely kids and so forth and don't have anything else to do than surf YouTube and the like. And when you're a kid, you've basically got a few options:
1. Sit around and do something that takes effort and possibly time which you probably can't be arsed to do.
-1a. Do something constructive. Takes a fair bit of time for little results.
-1b. Do something destructive. Takes less time but more results.
2. Sit around and do something to pass the time.
-2a. Troll.
-2b. Play games.
-2c. Watch videos
-2d. Read comics/webstuff
3. Go out and do something to pass the time.
-3a. Hang out.
-3b. Play sports.
-3c. Cause trouble.
-3d. Get into trouble.
Basically, the more stuff there is to distract the type of kids who can't spend the effort to do constructive stuff, the less destruction and mayhem they cause. So hey, if they wanna watch Fred instead of trolling forums and decent websites, then by all means let them watch Fred. It's not hurting us, since they wouldn't watch any of these "higher quality" videos anyways cause it takes too much effort to understand.

I'd never heard of the idiot until I saw this thread and I don't care enough to find out more. I've got much more important things to get outraged about than dumb fuckwits on the Internet...like Obama's $3.5 TRILLION budget (which, if I'm right about tax revenues, means the government expects to spend about $1.64 for every $1 it takes in. If you or I did that we'd be homeless at best and sent up the river for credit card fraud at worst.)

Anyway, yeah, I think his videos are horrible. I simply don't watch them.
If that's not good enough for you, constantly remind yourself that humanity is doomed and that people are fucking morons with no taste. However, taste is a subjective term. I personally do not understand the entertainment in his videos, but I'm sure there's over a million people (apparently) who disagree with me.
It's a depressing thought.

I've never heard of this "Fred" character (a fact which I'm now somewhat proud of) but he sounds like the kind of person I want to die. But atleast he's wasting his life posting tons of shit on Youtube as opposed to actually hurting people and commiting crimes (I'm probably thinking this because I just read the story about the guys killing the Navy SEAL's dog).
