If they've never played, they are the kind of annoying people who loves to hate everything popular with no reason rather than it's cool in their world. I dislike WoW, but I have reason for that.

I agree with Naturalized and Captain Pancake.. haha I've played WoW for years and I've done okay with the lady folk.. And they all know I play WoW.
I think they hate my shirt because they're stuck playing RUNESCAPE!!!

I own a black Wrath Of The Lich King shirt with Arthas on the back that I got from Hot Topic. During the school year I'd walk in with it and at least one or two of my friends would say 'Holy crap nerd! Why don't you burn that shirt?' Neither of them play WoW, or probably even know its a computer game. Why do they hate it so much?

I suggest burning these friends instead. It's your life and your money and if they don't like it fuck 'em.

No. I lost it a year before i started playing.

see there u go exaactly why u lost it, once wow has its grip on you, u cant give it up, its more addictive than crack cocaine and it costs not much hence ppl play or shud i say use it to fulfill things they would never usually be able to do

WoW WAS a great game.Epic for starters.Now it just a pile of mindless crap made to pull more people in.Mindless things to do like "Jump from a highest mountain!" What game makes a player jump from a mountain,to make him feel he is actually accomplishing something? So I agree,trow that shirt in a wastebasket.Get a metal band shirt and maybe it'll get you a girl too.
