Easy. Just end the relationship... But if you want to get "closer", actually try to be flirtatious and let her know. It's all you can really do.
Yeah, there's no getting out of the friend zone unless you take the proverbial leap of faith from the friend zone ladder to the dating ladder. I'll post a link later, maybe.
Ask her out. If she says yes, fantastic! Way to be.
If she says no, don't push the issue and just let it go. Don't do that passive-aggressive thing where you make it really obvious you're interested but actually make a move; it probably won't get you what you want (i.e., a date), if she's not interested it'll make her uncomfortable (possibly to the point of losing the friendship), and you'll miss the opportunity to date other equally lovely girls.

Is this a self diagnosis or has she told you this? You never really know, so make sure you are absolutely sure. As for getting out..... eh, that really depends how far into the friend zone you are.

In my experience it doesn't happen. See other people and if you're lucky things might change between the two of you, but don't waste too much of your life wishing for something you can't have. I ignored the woman who ended up being my wife for a stupid crush for three years when we were in high school.

My advice is to just try and make it clear that you like this girl, and see how things go. If she likes you as more than a friend then things will work out fine, if not then simply accept that you'll never be more than friends, keep her as a friend, and move on.
