This happened to me too. Ask her out, but make it clear that if it's a no, her friendship is really too valuable to lose...

For me, she said we were too good as friends blah blah blah, but now its like a month later and everything is totally fine...

Yeah, you can get in the friend zone, but you can't get out. It's kind of like being in a roach motel. This is easy- tell her how you feel. She'll get all uncomfortable and laugh nervously and say something like "blah blah blah, but not in that way." You'll never want to talk to her again. Problem solved. You'll be in the ex-friend zone.

know whats worse than the friend zone? the "brother zone"
I'm not sure what to think of this. Do you mean the "you're like a brother to me zone" or the "dude, you're my actual brother zone?" I'm just sayin'...

Easy. Just end the relationship... But if you want to get "closer", actually try to be flirtatious and let her know. It's all you can really do.

Probably wont work.
She'll most likely get all weird and stop talking to the dude.

Move on. She's just not that into you.
Oh, how was that movie? I never saw it.
That movie was Okay, but the story was really fragmented and did the dating advice either seemed to interfere with the story process or vise-versa. But I don't really get romantic movies so you might like it.

OT: asking the girl out, or at least telling her you like her as more than a friend is a really good start.

IN BEFORE BONZAIK TEARS OP A NEW ONE!

Seriously dude, She's not interested. Do yourself a favour & move on.

Edit: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.117161 Try this thread for any relationship advice, but under no circumstances use the term "friend zone"...It aggrivates the OP.
Ah, you guys make me laugh.

I won't reply to this in my thread. Proto, just read through the link Insanum has thoughtfully provided. Set aside a few hours and read every post in there. Then if you have further questions, post in that thread. Good luck.

in my expierience being in the friend zone means ive become so close and important to this person that they dont want to do anything that might ruin the relationship as it is. Wich has always wierded me out. My longest running friendly relationship are with girls. So if its anything like that its gonna take a drastic change in her way of thinking of you. Not sure what this could possibly be...watch My Best Friends Wedding maybe?

I hate the friend zone, but I always end up there too. I don't know what is wrong with my flirting that comes off as lets hang out but as good friends.

You can't. Once you're in, you can't get out. Unless you stop talking to her for 10 years then reintroduce yourself...

You can flirt a little, but if she's declared friend-zone, that's pretty much it. I've done that with a few people, and I've never changed my mind. Just be happy with the friendship, I guess.

In before also, as for the "friend zone", that is a permanent status
Not so. I dated a close friend that I have known for years just a while back, they say those relationships are supposed to be good, not sexually but emotionally. I already new her track record and, well it was true, worst GF EVER! We did jack shit in a month of dating!

I'm coming out of a similar situation and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that a girl won't wait for you. If you're friends with a girl that's mutually interested, you've gotta make a move. YOU GOTTA MAKE A MOVE! Even if she says "no", at least this way you'll be sure.

I waited too long and she felt hurt and moved on, then I got hurt at her moving on so I moved on, and then she got hurt and now we're not even friends and that hurts. No, That's a run-on sentence you don't want happening to you.

I've been in the friend zone. This girl acknowledges that I'd be a fantastic person to go out with, but we both agree it could harm our friendship. We both realize there's attraction to each other insomuch that we jive really well with each other. Then there's lustful attraction. We jive so well, we want each other sexually. Neither of us wants the other to get hurt, or to harm our friendship, so we're each in the Friend Zone. As a reward, I have a fantastic friend.

Friend zone ain't so bad. :) Find a girl that appeals to you, and try to date her. Friend zone + Dating = marriage, and I'm going to hazzard a guess that you aren't ready for that level yet. ;)

Just put her in the rape zone.
I gotta admit, I lol'd hard at that. I love fucked up humor.

Anyways, you could always, ya know, ask her out. It either puts you in a relationship with her, or makes it a bit awkward between you and her. Either way you're out of the friend zone, and it isn't hard to get back in.

Same boat, hooray!

It's true though. Even if you make it out of the friend zone, the relationship's just going to go downhill.

Although you shouldn't take advice from a guy with little to no experience on the subject matter, i.e. me, so yeah.
