Message To Her

I am 11 years-old. I am in the extension class of my school and is considered to be smart. I love reading, writing, drawing, boardgames and the subject English. I'm fit and is healthy.

Response: Thats good for you! See, he doesn't play video-games and look where that got him!

My response: I also play video-games alot. I play on PC,NDS,PSP and XBOX360. Take that b$%*@!

OT: I plan to do that. And the above is all true about me. Lets see her rebutting that. You can infer the rest.

If you can't infer the following picture will sum my mind up:

and she is definitely:

WRONG
*sarcasm* Well obviously you've sold your soul to the Satan and are a poster-child for the anti-Christ *sarcasm*

"After my son plays [videogames] at his friends' houses, he comes home irritable and testy for the rest of the day."

Gee, maybe that has something to do with you, lady. I bet when he comes home after a day of fun with his friends and some games, you interrogate him and then harp on about the evils of gaming for hours. Ruining his day like that, that'd make anyone "irritable and testy."

Some people are just batshit crazy. Everybody knows Satan's latest invention was the Furby.

I agree with FrumpyMom. I?m 24 and I?ve played video games a few times in my youth, and now I am an atheist. Coincidence?

I often wonder how different my life would be if I?d never seen an NES controller some twenty years ago. Sure, I?m going to graduate school to be a doctor and I donate monthly to a growing number of charities, but still? I?d be a much better person if only I had never stomped on those Goombas. As far as I?m concerned, video games are the training ground of future sociopaths and criminals and comic book artists.
Looking at this comment, I saw that not only does Philip Elder say that video games caused him to become an atheist (coincidence? I think so)but that comic book artists are right up there with sociopaths and criminals.
That just looks like an excellent bit of sarcasm to me.

Blowhard woman. "Ponder the universe" was that a favoured activity of hers when she was ten years old?

I'm surprised she knows who Isaac Clark Newton is. I'm surprised she knows what a DS is. My parents call mine a "gameboy", in the snarkiest sense of the word. It sounds like "pokeman".
Heh, I know what you're saying. My grandfather once referred to my GameBoy Advance SP as a 'Playman'. It wasn't snarky, he just knew no better...the shame..

Seriously, someone go take a shit on this *****'s doorstep.
Dude. Honestly, your recommendation is immature and beyond the pale.

Now excuse me while I go eat sixteen chili-cheese burritos and book a flight.

On a side note, pondering the universe is generally a bad thing. It causes bad thoughts that shouldn't be pondered about.
Pondering on a whole for long periods of time is bad for me. When I start a-ponderin, I start a-plotting. If I didn't busy myself with games, you'd all be dead.
Yea... That seems about accurate.

The constant deluge of anti-game critic mockery on this site has lead me to one question: Why does The Escapist constantly validate these attention whores whose only way to drum up sales is mentioning video games? You can laugh at their ignorance, but at the end of the day you are merely bringing them what they desired. If you want video game ignorance to die down, stop considering it news.

Rage...building!

I thought we took those people out when we killed jack thompson, oh well more crazys to take out.
You killed him!?

...Why isn't there a holiday for that!?
There is, it's on the calender, that is, is the calender.

Life is the holiday now. Such an important event can only be properly celebrated constantly, every day.
So...it is so special that we celebrate it everyday!?

Every single day the ignorance of people astound me. It really really does.

Apparently we don't have a good grasp on the universe because we play too many computer games.
I think SHE doesn't have a good grasp on the universe. Maybe she should "ponder" a little more and speak a little less.

Or possibly what she meant was that anything fun at all is "the devil's work" because fun serves no purpose, or a purpose that she has inferred is a bad or evil thing. I guess when you don't look at the whole picture and have been brought up to believe that certain things are infallible unproven truths, and never explore their validity.

I would advise she smoke some weed and watch that program that explored the theory that Jesus was a Buddhist that was on discovery channel years ago. Then smoke some more and watch some dumbed-down show for explaining quantum physics and the nature of space-time and relativity.

Perhaps then she would be more open to the world. Hmm that actually sounds fun.

Dante's Inferno promo?

I wouldn't doubt EA to pull something like this. (Probably ninja'd)
