If I listened to critics every time i saw a review in any media outlet, I wouldn't own all the cool shit I have. Me and my girlfriend went and saw this and we both fell in love with it immediately. And she reads reviews for every movie we've seen together. Every single one of them was bashed relentlessly, and we tend to see everything that's released in a season. Don't pay attention to critics, guys. Go with what you like, and fuck what anyone else thinks XD

If you take views from people making donkey noises and guffawing like adolescent imbeciles seriously, then you get what you deserve.
People like to make themselves feel better than other people, and they do that by being contrary and prejudiced. Even Yahtzee, though very funny, goes out of his way to be a cynical prick, although he turned it into a caricature, like some comedians do (like Jack Dee). Others, like the morons on that link, have to reaffirm their manliness by highlighting a group of people, as defined by them in a stereotypical and comedic way. Hey, whatever it needs to make them feel like they have big willys.
