Modern Warfare 2 Veteran Mode. I peek my head out for more than 2 seconds, BAM I die.
I thought that game on veteran was pathetically easy
Same, its the easiest COD on veteran i've played. The riot shield alone on some of the levels makes the game laughable.
Yea all you have to do is camp in one spot and kill everyone and move on (kind of like the multiplayer, gee..). No respawns. I like it better that way - the infinite respawns of previous CoD pissed me right off.

I'm not one to quit a game because the game is difficult. But there are times in multiplayer matches where I say, "Fuck This!" and run away.

In Modern Warfare 2, I'm more of a CQB player, UMP (Rapid-Fire), USP (Tactical Knife), Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, and Commando Pro. (Class Name: Howdy!)

My friend Pat is always a sniper with the perks Barret (Heartbeat/Thermal), Thumper Grenade Launcher, Bling, Cold-Blooded, and Ninja... he is nearly impossible to find and he always guns for me when we run into eachother online.

There was one point where I heard one of his shots whizz past me, and I said, "Fuck This!" and ran for cover instead of trying to kill him.

Ultimately, running away then, let me flank his sniper's next about 30 seconds later. I got so many points off killing him: Headshot, Payback, Rescuer, and Buzzkill.

So remember, a "Fuck This" now can lead to a "Fuck, Yeah!" later.

Unblockable teleport punch spam! at least 50 tries, around try 30 I was resolved to kill this fuck no matter how long it took.

MW2 on vet. Favela sucked, but it was doable if you camped in the safe room (if you've done this level on vet you know what I'm talking about). What made me want to do terrible things to puppies was the level where you had to raid Makarov's compound and download his computer. After you finish the download, getting to the exfil point is an exercise in madness. You can't leave the villa because you'll be cut down by machine gun snipers, and Ghost can't do shit to kill anyone. Then, if you make it out of the villa, a wave of enemies spawn half a mile away and cut you down with their machine gun snipers. Oh, and there are no checkpoints in between. AND YOU FUCKING DIE AT THE END OF THE LEVEL! FUCK!

You spend a good half an hour doing some task in a Saints Row 2 mission, like killing each individual target in a wide area or something like that, and then a rocket comes out of nowhere and hits your car in a way that you could not have possibly seen coming, and the game developers just happened to forget to give you a checkpoint so you have to do the whole thing again.

Fuck... this.

Online gaming does this to me often. I can barely play anything other than Red Orchestra or Left 4 Dead 2 anymore.

That and the incredibly difficult Timesplitters 2 challenges. Trying to hurl a brick through 36 windows in 18 seconds.

Waaaaaah.
You think that's bad, try beating Siberia on Hard.

I can get gold on that event (albeit after over 9,000 restarts), but I cannot for the life of me complete the first story level on hard mode.

Two spring to mind: the favela level in MW2, and bringing down the Star Destroyer in Force Unleashed.
I completely agree with you. If you didn't bring down the star destroyer at the correct time and left it to close to you the tie fighters would spawn close enough to shoot at you straight away, and it was impossible to bring it down. You just had to restart and hope for the best.

The single level which gave me the most difficulty on veteran was Favela. Then enemies kept spawning on roof tops all around me. After that level the rest of the game was a breeze.

When I was playing Diamond, I finally couldn't take the inane amounts of grind I had to contend with, and gave up. I mean, did the Gen IV games increase the experience needed to level up, or what?

Playing MW2 on Terminal, I run up to the bookstore only to see 3+ riot shielders camping in various corners of the store. Fuck that!

Playing Blazblue: Calamity Trigger online in a beginner-level room when suddenly a pro comes in and starts beating the crap out of everybody. Against some people, you may as well just put down the controller once the match starts, because they won't let you do ANYTHING besides die once they get ahold of you.
