2.One of the main ingredients of Coca-Cola, the Coca I believe,is actually illegal in the U.S. and they are the only ones allowed to ship it into the country.
3.Pixar made the very first 3D animation with characters and a story.
4.The first cartoon was The Various Phases of Funny Faces, and was done on a chalkboard.
5.The first cartoon that was in color was Trees and Flowers by Disney.
6.Snow White was not the fist animated movie, the first one was Finnish, it was just better and more popular.
7.In The Wizard of Oz they almost cut out the scene when Dorothy sings Over the Rainbow to save time. The actress who played Dorothy also hated that song.
8.Frankenstein was based on a drug induced dream.
9.Pixar was originally a software developer.

these are wrong, myth busters folded a piece of paper I think like 30 times

myth busters also busted the myth the fart myth too but Im not sure where to find the clip

a male mantis can copulate without its head but it can also copulate with it, really the females only eat the male roughly half the time, I think I might be wrong about the percentage but I know they can mate and produce offspring without the male being dead

chocolate also doesnt spoil

I don't know if any of these are true at all, but I know that some of them are wrong.

1: I believe that it is Ghengis Khan, not Atila the Hun. I may be wrong...However, this does not apply to the entire world, just certain parts of Asia.

2: The illegal ingredient in Coca-Cola was cocaine. It hasn't been in the drink in years, but at the time it was not illegal. I'm not sure about it's original importation laws, but now I believe this is no longer accurate.

Certain kinds of chocolate do not, in fact, "spoil" if they are tempered properly. However, certain kinds do, and regardless, they start to lose flavor over time due to environmental issues.

No, looking like a stero typical hawanii (Like Lelo from lelo and stich) means that your Samoan. Growing up and living in a certain place and partacing in its culture makes you what a member of what ever that area is called.

Thats why People living in the United States of America are able to be called Americans not German, English, Irish, eastern European, African ect...

Numerous Konami games have been turned into cards in the popular card game, Yu-Gi-Oh!

Most noteably, the Gradius series.

A vast array of spaceships that work with the card, 'Gradius' have been made, including boss enemy ships from the games have become their own archetype with a spell card called, "Boss Rush"

In the game, Yu-Gi-Oh! There's a Spell card named: "Yu-Jo Friendship" wich is a play on the word, "yujo" meaning friendhsip and the two main characters of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster's Jonouchi(Joey in the dub) and Yugi.

The card allows you to ask your opponent to shake your hand, but if you have "Unity" in your Graveyard, you may force your opponent to shake your hand.

A card known as, "Get Your Game On!" was released, with the abillity to aid Elemental Heroes, the cards used by the main character Judai Yuki(Jaden Yuki in the dub) whose catchphrase is, "Get Your Game On" in the dub of the anime.

A card from the anime known as "The Seal of Orichalcos" was made real and given only to employees of Konami for a special event. Loser of said duel would have their 'soul' taken, to represent this their picture was taken and posted on a board.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time is the first Yu-Gi-Oh! movie to have the main villain kill a main character(Maxamillion Pegasus)

The name "Rukia" from the anime, Bleach was made when Tite Kubo heard of a flower called, "Lukea"

The original concept of Bleach was to depict Rukia using a scythe while the Shinigami used guns, but was later changed to swords.

In the third Bleach movie, when Rukia's possessed she uses a scythe.

The first episode of Corner Gas was shot after the fifth episode, so that the characters would be more close for the first time they appeared to viewers.

Oscar, the grumpy father of the main character, "Brent" was based off the actor/creator of Corner Gas's father, but was made out to be a compleate opposite in additude, in favour of confrontation.

In the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, all 4 of the Dark Signer's who were killed to become Dark signers were good people to start out.

One was hanged to death in order to gain power to seek revenge on the one who killed his entire family.

One was smashed out a window and fell to her death, thinking of how she'd never see who she loved ever again.

One died in prison due to his need to make him and his friends be on top of the city.

The final one died as she drove off the road, distracted by the sorrow of her little brother's death.

Each 3 members of the group known as "Yliaster" are robotic representations of people who died in the war.

A child who died with his parents when blasted by a machine.

A young man who died battling the machines.
An old man who died all alone as one of the few humans left when the war ended.

Each android ironicaly uses cards based off the machines that started the war to change the past and prevent the war.

The Eurofighter Typhoon was designed to be aerodynamically UNSTABLE to make it more versatile in a dogfight.

It requires over twenty separate computer systems simply to remain airborne.
Most if not all modern fighters are designed this way.
I know- I was just using the Eurofighter as a recent example.

Leonardo Da Vinci invented the scissors
He did not. The scissors, or an ancient concept of them, were used in Egypt around 15 000 BC. The modern scissors were also used in Rome 100 AD.

No, it wasn't. It is the extract from the coca leaf, which is also made to create cocaine. They extract the cocaine and send it to a pharmaceutic company while keeping the flavour.

The Chinese used fingerprints as a method of identification as far back as AD 700.

I don't even feel like arguing anymore, but anyways... You never see people calling each other Hawaiian, even if they are locals unless they have "Hawaiian Blood" or family. I might also note that there's a school that you are only allowed in if you are 100% Hawaiian. Just because you've lived here for the longest time and know the culture well, if you don't have any roots in Hawaii you wouldn't be allowed in said school. Having Hawaiian Blood and being a local here aren't the same thing. They're different.

Hell, if that were true, just about 90% of the population would be going around calling themselves Hawaiian. We sure as hell don't have that.

You're also arguing with someone who has lived here for 15 years. I sure as hell know I'm not Hawaiian just because I've lived here since birth and know most of the culture. I'm Japanese/Filipino. I'm not going to magically turn into a Hawaiian by learning the culture.

On an Australian $10 note there is a square behind the picture of A.B. 'Banjo' Patterson, if you look at said square with a microscope/projector screen etc. you can make out the poem "The Man From Snowy River" which was written by Banjo.

almost every notable role jared leto has played in a film ends with the chacrater hes acting as being horribly disfigured/killed

the name AK-47 is technically a misnomer as that designation was only used from 1947 to 1959, the correct offical designation for the kalashnikov type rifles based on its design* is AKM

contrary to popular belief, the indians actually used large numbers of winchester lever action rifles during custers last stand, not bows and arrows

genetically stephen colbert (the comedian not the conserative alter-ego he plays) is 100% caucasian

* this does not count for the AK-74 and AK-101/102/105/etc

Mayday is the international emergency declaration codeword for aircraft and seacraft. It comes from the French "M'aider" which translates to "Help Me". To be properly stated, Mayday is repeated three times before and after a brief description of the nature of the emergency.

An inside reference held by all Pilots is that all Aircraft Procedure Manuals as well as International Air Traffic laws are "Written in Blood" due to those rules having being written as direct consequences of disasters in the past.

All aircraft have at least 11 different 'Max Speeds'. (V stands for Velocity)
  • V[sub]2[/sub]: Takeoff safety speed
V[sub]R[/sub]: Rotation speed: point at which the nosewheel will stop touching the ground as you take off.
V[sub]Y[/sub]: Speed that will allow for the best rate of climb.
V[sub]C[/sub]: Design cruising speed: best speed in terms of fuel efficiency and range.
V[sub]A[/sub]: Design maneuvering speed: aircraft control surfaces are most effective at this speed.
V[sub]FC[/sub]: Maximum speed for stability characteristics. Exceeding this speed may make the aircraft unresponsive.
V[sub]1[/sub]: Critical engine failure recognition speed
V[sub]S[/sub]: Stall speed: minimum speed for maintaining control.
    V[sub]SW[/sub]: Stall warning speed
V[sub]MO[/sub]: Maximum Operational speed limit: Aircraft will suffer dangerous amounts of stress damage.
V[sub]NE[/sub]: Never Exceed speed: All factors of physics are not in your favor.
Three aircraft still are debated today to be the world's fastest single-engine propeller aircraft. All three were built before 1946. All three are around 450mph (725km/h)
