No, I don't mean games loaded with cinematics.

Just games that allow you to be entertained simply by watching a friend play.

Like... BioShock. Or God of War.

I need more.

If you mean sometimes back seat driving, Braid was a fun one.

If you just mean sitting down and watching, Dragon Age was a pretty good one, i just flew through the battles to get to the story.

Metal Gear Solid 3.
My friend played through the entire game over the last few days and I watched.

I have from time to time put Madden Football in and put the mode to Cpu vs. Cpu and just watched it like a normal football game.

But Video Games aside I don't know why but watching a good ol' fashion dodgeball match is always bound to be fun.

Fallout 3 is a great one. Especially when everyone watching starts yelling at whoever is playing to do this or do that.

Oh, yes, I did mean the "back seat driving" brand of watching. The kind where you ask the player, "Sever your rescuer's head. Let's see what happens."

I did a dramatic play-through of Kingdom Hearts 1 + 2 for my little sister. I had already beaten the game, knew which fights needed to be beaten with easy and which bosses to almost die at.

When she was 10 and I had just gotten Kingdom Hearts 1; the first encounter with Darkside on Destiny Islands made her cry and she actually had nightmares, but because it had Disney characters she wanted to see the game.

Same thing happened with Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask (Oh the Moon), and Final Fantasy X.

after I did the dramatic play-through of Kingdom Hearts 1 she saw me playing Ocarina of Time and she wanted to know the story.

They are fun for me to play, but she just doesn't have the same gaming desire as I do, but she really does like the stories. They're like 40 hour movies. In between times when she wasn't watching the game I would do some level grinding if the next part is to appear easy. being very careful to not progress the story. If I didn't remember, I would just play through it and not save it.

It was actually quite fun.

My friend had gone through Deus Ex a few times and thought he knew just about everything. Watching him play through it I helped him learn that after giving a kid a candy bar for info, you could then knock out/kill the kid and loot the candy bar back. In short, it was much more fun to watch (and get my friend to do stuff) than to play it myself.

I like watching people play almost all games, but I particularly like watching people play RTS, because I'm not very good at RTS games and seeing people do well is just fun for me.

My friend bought Wet and played it at ours, three of us watched him play it all the way through, it was awesome. The game doesn't seem to be particularly great, but it's a fantastic spectacle to watch.

The same thing was said when me and the same friend went through the Hidden spec ops mission on MW2, taking it seriously and sneaking through the map (as opposed to when we ran through guns blazing and died horribly to 15 million sniper bullets - also fun to watch, but in a silly, hilarious way).

Hehe, yeah it is. Play it on a nice big screen, full on sound; nobody wants to come into my house again. Ever..
