More butthurt fans crying out because they think he ruined their movie.
His movie, his changes. Cry some more.
Except for three things...

1. They weren't his movies. He may own the rights, but his involvement was minimal. He had a few ideas, which his filmmaker friends improved on and then molded into some great films. Lucas became more and more resentful, especially during Empire where he had almost no control over the films, and so he regained a bit of control during Return of the Jedi and then spent the next few decades trying to return the movies to what he had originally wanted them to be (which pretty much everyone involved with the original films agreed was terrible).

2. The vast majority of artists realize that once you have released a work of art into the world, it is no longer yours to change, even if you are unhappy with the results (as roughly 100% of artists are). It's like your child in that way. It's very bad form to do what Lucas does.

3. Even he thinks what he's doing is terrible.

Death is bad. So let's take out all references to death in Dragonball Z. We'll add in grunts when we see dead bodies. Remove all of Chiatzu's speech to Tien as he sacrifices himself to kill Nappa. And when we see them all in the afterlife, we can replace the halos with balls of light. Oh, wait. 4kids already did that. Sorry, George.

How about we replace all the gun in the Matrix with walkie talkies. Also, change the ending so Neo and Trinity live and Neo never goes blind.

Avatar- Add evenmore CGI that you need to wear 4D glasses

Lord of the Ring Triliogy- It will be like the film Willow (another film made by Lucas and look it up at how awful it was) but expanded into three films.

28 weeks later. The kids stay in the quarantine zone.

but seriously. The ONLY movie Lucas needs to edit is the Star Wars Christmas Special. Period.

(For the record, I don't really care what Lucas did to the Star Wars movies. I just think this is fun.)

Reservoir Dogs:
Replaced blood with transparent water and guns with supersoakers. Everyone lives. This makes the movie more family-friendly.

Sin City:
Noticed a huge visual bug in this movie: the movie is now in full-bright color to make for a less visually confusing experience.

Wrath of Khan:
Switched "KHAAAAN!" to "NOOOO!"

Inglorious Basterds:
Instead of Hitler being shot to pieces he gets thrown to jail and is given a fair trial. Also changed the name of the movie to Inglorious Son of a Guns: 3D.

Hot Fuzz:
Everytime a villager hints at what's really going on, we made them wink at the camera with post-CGI.

Dawn of the Dead:
Zombies now hug characters unconscious instead of eating them alive. Movie now rated PG-13.

The Seventh Seal. You know, the Bergman movie. What changes would I make?
One word: Batman.
Oh...oh my god. I love Batman, I love Seventh Seal, I love this idea. Fund it. All of my money! Take!

Futurama, he'd go back and upgrade the effects while changing jokes to be more topical, like adding a reference to the tea party. Oh, wait, they're actually doing that...
