What is your guys take on coloured hair? And I mean all kinds of colours.
I'd dye mine a darker blue if I wasn't paranoid about causing damage.

I really like my natural jet black hair.

i like funky dyed hair, whatever the colour. Mine was insanely bright red, now gone back to a brown. Just the constant dying of it...because of how fast it fades annoyed me. I think if you have the patience for it... then keep it up :]

I have no problem with it. I dye my hair Burgandy(which for those who don't know can be compared to a garnet stone. Certain lights will make it turn certain colours. Red/Brown/Black and my hair will occasionally turn purple which the stone won't). I enjoy the colour and it tends to look very natural on me. Even though I'm naturally a blonde.....

For those who want photos of the colour:

I generally laugh.. Not because it looks stupid or anything, other peoples appearance doesnt bother me..
Its more that all that hair coloring is more than likely to fuck up your hair in the long run..

So just think back to your pretty blue hair when you are in the late 20's and balding..

Same with hair gel- and wax, just dont do that stuff if you really love your hair..

It's almost always just a novelty, so I don't really care about it at all, and it can sometimes be pretty unattractive.

It also seems like one of those things where, when you're 30-40 and looking back, you'll think "why the hell did I believe that was a good idea?"

I have red and black hair atm but I really want pink :< The hairdresser didn't have any dye in the last time I went, I was sad.

Debating with getting it half red and half black like Harley Quinn's in Suicide Squad because I really like it :)

I love your hair OP looks awesome, I like the darker parts.

I've tried every hair color. Even the "unnatural" ones (though that was between 11-15 years-old; you know those years).

I'm a natural blonde with black hair at the moment. I think it compliments my blue eyes, so I like it.

For guys, I love the dark hair. Dark brown, jet black...long hair, shaggy hair..if you're tall..

*shakes head*

But uh, yeah. I'm indifferent to the other colors - but it DOES look nice on you, OP.

I like the look, but it would not work for me. All in all it depends on the person, some people can pull it off very well. Some can't.

For the most part, I don't care for the look. Especially on guys. However, ladies with pink hair.....it's sorta kick ass.

My hair is a rather dirty blonde. HOW EXCITING! Only times I've ever died it were for halloween costumes.

I kinda like it on girls, though. Looks rather cute.

I think it looks cute on girls. On guys? Not so much, and strangely I can't really think why. But on girls, oh yes, I dig that alt-look. That is, if the whole package is done well. There's a really fine line between tacky and childish and cool.

That shade you got mister OP makes me think of Ramona from Scott Pilgrim, which is rather...odd. Still, that's a well-done haircolouring. Usually when I see people with odd hair colours it looks only half-done, y'know, crappy quality. Yours is very good though.

I myself won't dye my hair like that though, or any other more natural shade for that matter. I quite like my dark brown hair, it's just too straight. I can't do anything good looking with my hair, just put some hairgel in it and that's it.

Due to an accident of birth I'm skewbald (brown, patches of black, blond, white and ginger) so I hide it by dying black, any other colour doesn't take evenly.

Never felt strongly about any colour on anyone, unless it's a crappy dye job.

Generally I prefer people to have natural hair colors. I don't really care for the most part though, since any color can probably look all right enough if done right on the right person. I think unnatural highlights in otherwise natural colored hair can look pretty great.

Also black. I like girls with the most blackest of black hair. So black that I had to use a double superlative to properly describe it. Bonus points for bright green or blue eyes.

my hair is naturally black and for the last 3/4 years i've had it tinted blue, purple or red so Im generally into unusually coloured hair if it looks right on the person

It really depends on the person. On some people it looks kind of poser-ish but on those it does suit it can look really sexy. On both sexes.

You don't happen to have a picture of "skewbald" hair, do you? Google Images just returns 1000s and 1000s of pictures of horses, so it must be pretty uncommon.

Nope, I'd only ever heard it applied to horses too. Guess the doctor was just trying to be clever (it's a bit like piebaldsism, only not just black and white, hence skewbald).
