In Oblivion, I was sneaking around the Mage's Guild building. I tried to pickpocket a guard and failed, so he turned on me and I resisted arrest. I fight him for a bit, but I had the game set to the max difficulty, so I was getting destroyed.

Another guard comes bolting down the hall. I think at first that the two of them are going to gang up and kill me, but the guard who just arrived goes straight for the one I'm fighting. The two of them duke it out, and the one who saved me wins. I talk to him afterwards, expecting "You've violated the law!" but it doesn't happen. He greets me and has a normal guard dialogue tree.

I say goodbye and go on my merry way.

The Weirdest Glitch i've seen is with LoZ: Link's Awakening, where you can hack to the other side of the screen by opening map as the screen moves, Also another is where if you do that trick in a certain area, you end up fighting monsters that look like old ladies, and what they throw are children instead of arrows. :S

The oblivion 'Glitch' In which i enchanted each piece of my glass armour with 20% chameleon, and i technically did not exist until i talked to people. Many stories can come from the this, but the best one has been when a hobo walked up to a guard and asked for some gold, which the guard declined and that's when i paralyzed the hobo and the guard just watched him fall over like it was nothing, so i paralyzed the guard as well, who then stood up and went back to his post like he hadn't been touched.

Oblivion. On the road circling Imperial City I somehow managed to get an Imperial Guard to chase his own horse.

Seems like Bethesda wins the gold medal for glitches.

Funniest: In Oblivion, when the count of Skingrad is wailing at the loss of his wife. Two seconds later he greets me with a cheering "HI!!"

Creepiest: In Fallout 3, I was walking in the Capital Wasteland, and suddenly people are dropping from the sky! When they reached the ground they dissolved, but still....

i waited there for about 20mins before shadowmeere showed up from across the map presumably...
at which point i jumped on her and was able to rest...

There was that glitch in Oblivion where I wasn't able to do anything or advance further in the game because a glitch had made the game register that enemies were nearby no matter where I was.

However a wierd glitch in Fable 2 that I discovered was this thing I call the 'imoblised AI' glitch. This one's wierd, here's how it seems to work:
I bought a house in Bowerstone to please my wife and soon we had a daughter, I leave for that ten year quest, come back have a grown daughter and wife. That's when I first notice the glitch after a few game days. It hit my daughter first, she was standing out by the post just outside my house and... she just stood there. Not making a noise, just standing there. I tried telling her to follow me and she simply stood there oblivious.
I tried giving her a gift and nothing happened either. In fact the game didn't even register that I gave her anything.
Shortly afterwards two more people ALSO walked over to that point and got stuck, in fact every single NPC that walked up to it instantly got stuck there. My wife got stuck there for god's sake.
Now I want to explain something, my house was right on a busy road where passers by would often pass and naturally become stuck in the glitch. It was like a giant venus fly trap in sealed off room full of flies.

Also it caused something I like to call 'divorce under grounds of glitch'. This is where even though the upkeep is fine, the relationship status is very happy and the kids upbringing is okay my ***** of a wife divorces me, the game gives no indication that there is anything wrong with the relastionship status. This is actually where I first noticed the earlier glitch when my wife screamed divorce and ran out the door she got as far as the porch, then got stuck. And she kept doing this again and again.
I was ALMOST annoyed until I realised that without a family to worry about I could just continue questing and not give two shits.
I just wonder why, if this is a real life simulator, do I not get visitation rights to my daughter or something?

But seriously has anyone else suffered from either of these Fable 2 glitches?
Don't tell me I'm the only one.

There's an old one I remember that was pretty creepy. on goldeneye 64, on the first surface mission, if you set the alarm off and kept on killing the infinitely respawning enemies for a while. they started coming with either: no face, a big black bar across there face and no other features, multiple faces on the same head or flailing glitchotronic limbs.. good times

In Mercenaries 2 my friend playing with me fell through the map. I was amused and surprised when he fell so far, he appeared ABOVE the map and came back to the ground. Seemed out of Looney Toons.

Fallout 3 today, first time playing. After fighting through a Hell of Talon Mercs and Raiders, I hapened upon a small, broken farmhouse. I loot it and start to leave, when my radar explodes with red "enemy" spots. I looked around and found a herd of Brahmin, charging me, which the died about two feet from my face, turning from "Mad Brahmin" to "Brahmin Corpse", which then had the nerve to bounce like a 3 yr old on crack for about ten secondds, ending with most of them sitting on a water tower.
Congrats Bethesda! You win at failing!

When I was playing Fallout 3 one of those werewolf things jumped at me and when I killed it, it's corpse went flying across the map.
Another glitch was on FIFA 09 when the players face stretched out of his head and another one was when every players body just disappeared and I could only see their heads and boots.

That would be the infamous Yoeaoio Guaueaoi.

OT: In Oblivion, I loved dragging bodies in open doorways and closing them, causing the body to twitch enormously, usually rocketing into a random direction after a few seconds. Sometimes it kept twitching after that launch.

Naked Sims. Seriously, that glitch was weird.
I never came across that.. Explain? :)
Hahaha. There was a cheat that enabled you to move objects even if they were being used. You could make a Sim take a shower or a bath and then move the shower. You'd see them naked, without censoring.
