In bloodharvest, triggering the train to go and break the down the bridge so you can run up it, while your teammates get bogged down in zombies and you go and sit nice and comfortable in the safe house, shooing out the little door slot. Fun, every time.

Getting thrown by the tank into the helicopter at the end of no mercy (didnt happen to me).

Also, one time a friend of mine scared the witch, and ran into one of those respawn rooms, thinking I was going to join him and close the door. Instead I waited for the witch to run inside and then closed the door. Rape time.

A hunter threw itself at the helicopter just as the cut scene began at the end of no mercy, so we got a god view of it flinging itself at nothing as it flew straight past the air born helicopter and off the roof.

being in a house with a witch, and my friend larry just screaming over the headset, "BURN THE WITCH!" we both died because the guys we were playing with were lame, but it was fun as hell

Get either shotgun and you have to 1-shot the witch, which is done by walking up to her, when she looks at you get as close as possible and shoot her straight in the face, hopefully, she will die in one shot.
It may take a few tries.

Yeah, I tried that once with the auto-shottie, didn't work. I guess I'll just try again. Thanks.

Use the Auto Shotty, but I did it on 'easy'...just to get that darn achievement.

Playing No Mercy with my wife, and we're on the final rooftop stand off. She's not very good at FPS games, so she's trailing behind as we bolt for the helicopter. Well I get there first, and turn around just in time to see the tank run up behind her, and punch her right past the nose of the helicopter and off the roof.
She wasn't too impressed.
I was.
Immensely.

The first time I ever played L4D it was me and one of my friends in the demo version and went something like this:

At this point the car alarm went off leading to a zombie bum rape orgy followed by hysterical laughter and the term 'dumbass' being used frequetly.

One occasion on no mercy, me, sniper guss, Rad and Mode all on no mercy heading down to the subway safehouse. We'd all taken a severe kicking especially as Rad ran up to the witch and butt-whipped her!! We were on less than 15% health between us and just when we got to the safe house, what was in the door to the left?? A Bloody tank!!! You've never seen 4 guys shit themselves so much and running in every direction trying to get away, but the funniest bit was listening to guss as he literally screamed like a small girl just as the tank caved his head in hahahaha!

Another occasion was on the blood harvest, second safe house, we just patched ourselves up and stocked up on the ammo feeling pretty confident as we were having a good round. Walked out of the safehouse, and out pounced a hunter and started shaving Rads chest using it's claws as a mach3, we got him up and next thing that comes out of the woodwork was a tank! We thought we'd be clever and hide in the safehouse thinking he couldn't get in, (seems that when you play on expert, the safehouse doors are made on paper mache) He got in and it was a massacre! Bodies thrown everywhere, debris bouncing off the walls and me being cheeky (and knowing we was gonna die soon) ran up to the tank and koshed him with my assault rifle.......... he turned round and stuck my head up my own arse (
painfull but f**king funny lol

my freind was trying to piss off a witch to see how long he could last running from it and as he found one he slowly creeped up to it and as got to it it spun round and scared the living shit out of him, he fell of his chair and banged his head on the table in his front room, spent two days in hospital and is now refusing to play the game hahahahaha

Best campaign one- We were doing Death Toll on Expert when all of the sudden, the Tank music starts up...but hes nowhere to be found, we looked around and couldn't find him. So we figured it was a glitch and continued on. A few minutes later we got to the next area and had just cleared it of zombies. We were looking for goodies when the tank stormed in out of a frikken bathroom and rainbow punched the guy playing louis out the door, the proceeded to kill all of us in similarly hilarious fashion.

Best versus one- I was a smoker on the first chapter of blood harvest and I grabbed Bill from across the chasm and dangled him off a cliff. It was hysterical cuz the other team didn't know what to do. If they shot me, I would drop him to his death, if they didn't, I was gonna strangle him. Eventually they killed me though and sent bill to his grave in the process.

I forgot I had left the televison on in the next room. Anyway, I heard (Slightly quiet due to my headset, making it sound more like it was in the game) crying. I immediately let go of the mouse and keyboard - "HOSHI- WIIIIIIIIIIIITCH!"

I was playing online and my team was playing the Infected and we were finishing No Mercy, the final hold out till the chopper comes, well the survivors are holding it together and my team is just having a bad time. The boomer gets spawned everytime right next to the chaingun placement crap like that, the chopper comes and for the final push I get the tank and start laying the beat down! I get all the way into the chopper and take two of the survivors down in the chopper when the hunters kill the other two and WHAM! the chopper closes and takes off with me inside pounding the crap out of the last two! My team was like WTF! Strange but true.

Another time I am playing with a group of self described "Awesome sauce!" players, they stated this not I as they were nothing more than a bunch of idiots! I end up getting one of the guys to the safe room by the grace of some deity and turn around to see another one of my team mates (who shot us more than he did the infected) pinned to the counter by a hunter with a second hunter clawing the crap out of him, I blast the crap out of the two hunters and accidently hit the car with the alarm! End of round we lost one survivor, he was in an alley not even near the safe room, the rest of my team screams and whines about me shooting the car then the teammate I save starts the kicking process and I get kicked! Some days it doesn't pay to play with the mentally challenged! Even better I got onto the other side when I tried to get back in and ended up smearing the same mental genius who kicked me because he didn't realize that the door cheat on board three of No Mercy requires a crap load of damage, so I ended up clawing him to death while he kept trying to bash down the door....his team watched me kill him =)

Happened the other day, I was the only survivor left, my buddy was the only one I knew in the room, and coincidentally the last survivor to die as the other two died near the beginning of the map. Anyway, I start sprinting through the map now avoiding the hordes as much as I could, and shooting off hunters and the occasional smoker and boomer. My buddy is practically giddy with excitement as he didn't think i would make it that far, as I had just picked up the game anyway, but once I'm in sight of the safe room the shit hits the fan.

First a damn tank comes out of no where! punching me a good fifty plus feet back and away from where I want to be. I get up to sprint back, but around the corner a boomer pops up and subsequently blows up all over me, enticing the horde. Before i get the chance to even say "Fuck" A smoker grabs me and starts pulling me in, and as I can't see I don't shoot him off in time, and to make matters worse, a hunter pounces. The smoker then grabs me again and the two of them go back and forth till I'm dead, not ten feet from the safe room.

"Shit...Ah fuck! WHAT THE... GAH......... WORST DAY EVER!" was all my buddy heard me say as it all happened"

I got two.
The first and most recent was on "No Mercy" when a friend opened a door, behind which was .... well ... the witch, he starled her thus causing the usual oh shit jesus christ f*** f*** response while back pedalling and turning her into swiss cheese.

the second is more elaborate but oh so funny.

Let me set the scene.

blood harvest, last level, the ledge leading into the cornfield (has the sign "keep your hands up in the air" etc) a friend is sat next to me, his entire health bar is filled only by pain pills, mine is at half health.

"There is no way in hell I am going down there" my friend says, surveying the field.
A Roar rips through the eerie quiet.
I turn around.

WALL TO WALL MOTHER F***ING ZOMBIES!!!!

screaming the usual array of profanity that l4d causes, we back pedalled off the ledge, throwing molotovs to create a wall of fire.

Unfortunatly zombies don't instant die on contact with fire.

Thus as we ran back watching flaming corpses run at us through the field, we screamed, we shot.

We got crippled.

lying on the ground, getting mobbed by flaming zombies.

as we realised we would die, we just burst out laughing.
Shortly before i died, i heard the telltale bleep of a pipe bomb, unfortunatly I also saw the red light, the idiot had thrown it at me.

Ka-Boom!.

no more me.

on No mercy, me and my friend were playing VS. with 6 other random ppl, and so we jus get to the subway part, and im helping a teamate up who was down, and my friend comes up the stairs, and unloads a magazine of the assault rifle into my back, i was like dude what the hells wrong with you?
He was like ohh crap sorry man, i walked up the stairs and saw an outline of a figure above a downed teamate so i thought you were a hunter.

i was pissed for a lil bit, then i started cracking up because it was funny

Quite funny, not sure if it was a glitch or not but here's what happened: I was playing No Mercy VS and we got to the end of the hospital level but everyone was in a bad shape, so I'm in front just arrived at the safe room breathing a sigh of relief when BAM! a tank spawns in my face and wipes me out. As he then decimates my team, a smoker walks over too my incapped character and stands there for a few seconds then suddenly I've been revived! Not sure what's up with that but I blew the smoker away (Friendly though he was) and proceeded to win the match for our team as the sole survivor! I seriously dunno if that's a glitch but it was freakin' hilarious the zombie team were like wtf mate?

We then owned them next round.

Umm, once me and a guy startled a witch, who killed the 2 other guys on our team. We ended up dashing back to the starting safehouse. This was in the demo, too. I went down, he left me, but I killed it!

Not a glitch or anything, but it is incredibly funny to play through a campaign, like I just did, with someone who had just consumed almost 20 beers.
