I play L4D with good friends that i've known for a few years so we usually enjoy ourselves a lot with fun moments.

Doing things like yelling Tentacle rape while smokers drag you away. One particular moment was funny to me. Me and my friends were almost to the safe room when I unloaded a round of Shotty into the rear of my buddy. He started screaming "Wtf!" so i explained to him "Sorry, your ass is so huge. Thought you were a boomer" then when we finally get more toward the room so i figured I'd shoot the car alarm for kicks. Then i ran to the safe room and shut the door on everybody.

got a few. played with 2 buddies on Dead Air, advanced. Akimbo run (i had the achievement, but i did it for fun. the crane (2nd map). we were standing in the hallway that leads to the crane, when suddenly my budd Anarkiados sees a hunter jumping at him. he fires at it, and shoots it in the head, doing the Jump Shot achievement. we all laughed. then suddenly another hunter jumps at me. i, yelling "ARRGGH" into the mic, shoot him directly in the face, doing Jump Shot too. that was really great.

also, when i played our first akimbo run (same day, 20 min before the other shit happened). both my teammates had been disconnected once, so they dont get the achievement. after pushing our asses through hordes, tanks and specials on Advanced, i was the only who got it.

same day or day before. we was in The Town, 4th part of Death Toll. we was doing great, too great. so through the whole freakin map, we encountered 2 tanks and 2 witches. with ANY of them incapping anyone except the bot. when we heard the grunting of the second, i was fast to say "theres a tank again". Anarkiados said loudly "WhAT??, ANOTHER?." damm it was fun.

my freind was trying to piss off a witch to see how long he could last running from it and as he found one he slowly creeped up to it and as got to it it spun round and scared the living shit out of him, he fell of his chair and banged his head on the table in his front room, spent two days in hospital and is now refusing to play the game hahahahaha

Mine was when me and my friends were about to get the achievement for surviving all the campaigns on expert and no one dies the whole thing, Just before we were done, I went on the sandbags next to the turret and jumped off and tried to go on the van behind it. This was before pretty much everyone knew about the turret glitch and flying across the map and what not. So when I jumped,my friends were all in the airplane already and waiting for me to join in, I flew across the map going realllly fast and I died on top of the airport building. All my friends seen where I landed but couldn't reach me to get me healed.

We were goign for the nothing special achievement and one player got hit by a hunter, so we all commit suicide to start over.
I jump down the lift shaft in no mercy shouting "I dont want to live in a world without MAverick!" , the guy who had jumped before me
Also in the lift, one guy started playing "|Never gonna give you up" and we all started dancing. I was in fits for 10 mins after that.

When I was playing Blood toll 2 with 3 people, the person who was being Zoey got took by a smoker and I along with everyone else, rather then shooting the smoker we all ended up taking screenshots with the girl who played zoey saying "Stop taking screenshots and shoot him"

My friend was about to get the Cr0wnd achievement, I already had it and he killed me in the game before. So I set the ***** on fire before he shot her, I have never heard someone scream so much.

How do you get that achievement?

My friend and I were playing splitscreen and online, opposite sides during versus. I was just paying attention to my scree, but my friend at one point just said "hey, turn around". So I did, and I saw these two hunters (one of them him) just pouncing straight up in the air. It was funny.

Get either shotgun and you have to 1-shot the witch, which is done by walking up to her, when she looks at you get as close as possible and shoot her straight in the face, hopefully, she will die in one shot.
It may take a few tries.

1. Get the auto-shotgun.

2. Approach a witch from behind.

3. Shoot her in the head as she is standing up.

It takes some practice, but you have to hit her in the head while she is in the process of standing up and do it in one shot.

My friend and I found that she is actually slower to respond if you approach her from behind while she is still sitting on the ground.

You kill a Witch with one HEADSHOT TO THE HEAD with a shotgun.

Anyway, one time, I was playing online. All my teammates were dead on No Mercy 3. So I was going down to the reactor room saw they respawned their. I went in the hallway before the stairway, and I had one health exactly, and a Hunter was in front of me as I went into the hallway. Well, I screamed so hard as I shot the Hunter about 10 times, and I than got my guys out.

Wow. You need to shoot someone in the head for a headshot. You are incredible.

I have a new one, playing with Danny Ocean, he pulled me up of the hospital sides before falling to my death, only to have the command stop, and then I plunge to my death anyway.

I have both versions (got 360 for Xmas and bought the PC version as part of the big game pack off Steam).

I was trying to get Spinal Tap on the 360 version for days while playing through again and again. I figure I'd load up the PC version and give the game a whirl on that. I see the first Zombie facing away from me in the No Mercy campaign, run up to him and pistol-whip him. Spinal Tap achieved on the first enemy I faced.

And in the same session I continued and found a witch. I threw a molotov and set her on fire and she came screaming at me but got stuck on a piece of scenery. The AI players ran round and blasted away at her and killed her because she got stuck going after me. Witch Hunter achieved. Later the tank showed up and the exact same thing happened; set on fire, after me, AI killed it. Tankbusters achieved.

Okay it was on Normal difficulty but it was quite funny at the time.

I was on No Mercy in the subway part. This moron on my team set off every car alarm he could find, so we were nearly dead. He runs into the safe room while we hold off the 9th freakin hoard/witch. He uses every Medkit and when we walk in, he shoots us with the shotgun. WTFs are flyin everywhere, so I begin punching him repeatedly. He does this kind of shit every time he plays the game.

I was playing as a hunter. Now, on the No Mercy campaign right at the start, I went over to the building next to the spawn zone. Now, I hid on top of a raised platform, and while distracted the survivors made a run for the door. Damn. That was my oportunity crushed. But, then Cpt. Forgetfull came back because he forgot to pick up a gun.

I leaped across the whole map, screaming loudly, whereby he turned around slowly to see me hurtling towards him and started ripping his nipples off. Now, the other survivors were already on the streets, so he had no hope.

I jumped down, then single handedly killed 2 other Survivors.

Not true. You need to kill her in between shooting her and startling her (a pretty small window of opportunity). And it doesn't even need to be a headshot.

I managed to get a CR0WND in THREE autoshotgun shots. My first shot went under her armpit (miss), one hit her in the shoulder (hit, I SAW blood), and the third shot replaced her face with half a pound of mincemeat (critical hit).

I have some stories.

If a Tank is chasing you, head to a steel door (either any red Safe Room door, or the fridge door like in Death Toll). Crouch behind it, and (unless the Tank is throwing crap at you), the Tank can't break through. He just swings his arms like a gorilla trying to kill you. This leaves you free to flick pistol ammo at it. When my team watched me do that, they were falling over each other.

Let's see, I made a few jaws drop when I jumped in between an incapacitated ally and a skyward chunk of concrete. He thought I was going to soak the hit for him (ME: "He's grabbing concrete! Hold on!" *sprints at ally* HIM: "No, don't do that, you moron! It'll kill us both!"), but I was shooting the rubble and it fell apart around us. I picked him up and we made the Tank fellate my shotgun.

I KILLED Tank with nothing but pistolwhips. The reactions were mixed, between "Nox, you're a legend!" "Nox, you're an idiot!" and "Why did you take so long, Nox?"

My cousin was playing a Versus, in which he was facing off against Hunter and a Tank, his team was spectating from the scissor lift just outside Mercy Street (No Mercy). He thought he'd be clever, and lured the Hunter to the Tank while the latter was attacking.
Hunter went *splat*. Team were in hysterics.

Earlier TODAY, in Death Toll, I was going to rescue someone who had been killed, and as I opened the door adjacent to the Hero Closet. I opened the door and a Tank was waiting on the other side. We stared at each other for THREE SECONDS, before we both remembered our scripts. I ran and screamed, Tank roared and persued.

And there are the things I say when I pounce people.
"I want your nipples," "I'm going to an interview and have no tie. Your large intestine will suffice," "Hey, it's Louis. I need a new helmet. His will do," "I want your tattoos, Francis. I'll give them back, I swear," "I will use Zoey's breasts as a shower cap."... I do have a lot of problems, don't I?

Pretty much every time me and my friends meet a tank in co-op becomes stuff of legend.

Dead Air 3 (construction site). We pour out of the starting room, so full of ourselves, shoot zombies and immediately run into a tank.
Normally we can kill it before it kills us, albeit with difficulty (we play mostly on Expert), but this time the damn thing caught fire from a burning barrel and killed everyone save for me. (Since it in coop burning tanks are faster than players)
I run back to the saferoom, trying to kill it, run in, close the door, climb upstairs - naturally it takes him minimum of effort to knock down the door and climb after me.
I jump down, already thinking of imminent restart, when it finally dies it from the fire and falls down.
Then I alone face and kill a horde, a Hunter, a Smoker (although he was burning), and a Boomer all within two minutes of each other before rescuing the rest of the team. 'twas epic.

Another time was at Death Toll, the train yard. We made it past the train yard itself and all the way to the cabin Zoey doesn't like so much. There's a Witch sitting inside, very close to the door but invisible from outside.
Rost runs into the house, notices the Witch, runs out, closes the door and screams "Nobody go into the house" at the same time as Anman, who was too busy keeping the zombies away says "Everyone into the house", opens the door, runs in and startles the already angry Witch.
Naturally, we all died. On our second attempt Rost confused a Tank with a... tree. Yes. We all died again, but it was worth it for the epic quote - "And I was thinking why was that tree so muscular."

I was injured so i was running really slow, my friend was laughing as the horde was approaching. Everyone was in the saferoom and i was close to getting it but my mate kept blocking the door until a smoker got him and dragged him away. I went in the saferoom my friend died and i took the piss out of him so badly. Cocky shite lol.

The best moment for me so far: A tank was dominating my slow low-health party on expert at the gas station part of No Mercy, so what did I do? I lured the tank very close to the gas pump and just when he was almost on top of me, I blew up the gas station killing both of us! The rest of the team survived and I was rescued later on from the closet. Really epic moment...
