I recently watched an anime called Ghost Stories, an anime which has had it's script switched to a commedy one for the english version. It's funny as hell.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxJ4VWoeOzs

But now I've got nothing to watch, does anyone know any hilarious anime like this? Preferebly english as I don't always have my eyes on the screen to be reading subtitles.

Ah I've already seen GTO, not too long ago actually! Yeah subs aren't bad, but in english it means I can still do things like play games and browse forums on the other screen and still follow it.

Might want to look into the English Version of Azumanga Daioh. Massively entertaining.

Ranma 1/2 is a harem anime that's always hilarious. Its got lots of nudity though so that may not be your thing.

Ramen Fighter Miki is really funny, although I've only seen it subbed, dunno if there's a dubbed version.

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro Chan.

Currently watching it with a friend, but there are only subbed versions of it. Still pretty funny though!

If anyone from the Anime Club reads this, then they should know that they were totally fucking right.

Calumon: I can be funny when I want to be!

"Seitokai no ichizon" is quite funny, I would also recommend that you have a good look at "Gintama" too, majority of it is side splitting stuff. Though be prepared for subs with those two shows, it just fits a lot more natural with the Japanese audio to be honest

School Rumble, an absolute blast when it comes to hilarity, I heartily recommend this.

TO Love Ru, it's also an ecchi to some extent, be warned.

Azumanga Daioh is not bad, it has a bit of surreal humor in it though. English dubs are alright, so don't hesitate to watch it in English if you really want to.

Ah! My Goddess, not exactly a comedy, more of a romantic-comedy. Again, English dubbing is pretty good.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

If you're going to watch Azumanga Daioh, watch it with English subtitles; the voice actors are HORRIBLE.

Arakawa under the Bridge is pretty decent.

Cromartie High School (Comes in both, English is quite good)
Martian Successor Nadisico (English is better than the Japanese for this one imo)
Rosario + Vampire (Unsure if this one us Eng Dubbed)
Zero no Tsukaima ( I believe this has an Eng, dub, yet to hear it though)
Negima!? (That's the remake if anyone is confused, also has an Eng dub)

Try not to wet yourself. =3

You mean it's the one with the severely altered story compared to the manga?

I can never quite figure them out =(

Gintama (the first 5 or so episodes are fillers and might be boring. Trust me, they set up the story arcs for much later. Funniest show I have EVER seen)

Great Teacher Onizuka
Desert Punk
Seto Hanayome
Trigun
Full Metal Panic
Seitokai no Ichizon
The Irresponsible Captain Tylor (first ep makes me laugh so much)
Bakemonogatari

Haha I've seen that! Wasn't many episodes if I remember correctly, but it's pretty good.

Oh yeah I'd also recommend School Rumble. Azumanga Daioh was alright... bit slow at times.

Lot's of suggestions in this topic which is nice =) I'll look them up in a bit. Are there any like Ghost Stories?
