It looks like they took Spy kids and traded them up for guinea pigs. Then again, it is a kids movie to the very definition, so I'm avoiding it like a leper.

Waiting for District 9 and "9" to release (both trailers look interesting).

NO IT ISN'T. It is the end of the movie industry as we know it. Don't you know that just like games they must cater to your demographic. And if they make anything not made for your age group it is damning the entire industry since you have been forgotten.

Wait, so you're saying that G-Force, a CGI movie about talking guinea pigs fighting crime, is "damning the entire movie industry" because IT ISN'T being catered towards kids?

Well, if you have kids, just don't let them see it.

Any worse than getting worked up over a game made for kids? It isn't the kids who will be damaged. It is the older movie goers that the movie wasn't made for in the first place that are damaged. Our precious psyches can't handle this kind of discrimination.

so you want to see it because... it looks interesting? how so does it look interesting? does the plot appeal to you? or the characters?

Just seems to be one of those retarded summer movies that you don't have to think about, just watch it and laugh at it for what it is.
There's nothing particularly special about it, it just is what it is.

When I first heard the idea while watching a trailer in the theater, I thought to myself, "If approached in a very self-aware matter, this could be at least OK." Then I watched another two seconds and thought, "Yeah, this is going to completely suck."

It's a pet movie.
This genre is the Jesus of all cash cows. Because spoiled children hear about it and demand to see it. This means that everybody but the teenaged brother/sister or both. Have to come.
And it takes little creativity to make the idea. Hollywood is useing Gineau Pigs alot. They where the main joke for Bedtime Stories too.

A few years ago a journalist tracking the meth epidemic in Oregon discovered the level of addiction and the level of pseudoephedrine in crystal meth confiscated by the police followed each other exactly, the higher the pseudephedrine the more addicts. I hypothesize a similar relation to script approval and the availability of narcotics in Hollywood.

I haven't seen the movie but the little thing "james bond never had these problems" just was a big turn off. I can't really find words to say why, maybe it's that it was over used?

It's the dumbest thing that Jerry Bruckheimer ever got involved in. I don't even think children will have a good time seeing this.

The thing that annoys me the most about this movie is that it's yet another movie humanizing animals. It's an overused story telling device that I'm getting tired of seeing.

Have a bland movie on your hands? Use animals as the characters!
