If my university English courses have taught me anything, then he's probably a Christ figure.

But the FBI suck ass... at everything...Fraught said:But he's from the FBI, maaaaan!Master_Spartan117666 said:He's obviously nonhuman, considering he can survive in areas far deadlier than what any human could, and he can teleport.
Also, he's some sort of living version of a job-finder.
The FBI's level of technology is at least about 5 centuries ahead of the general populace's!
He's more of a plot driver than a plot device. He doesn't really seemed to be involved directly in the plot. He kinda brings in the plot devices. By the way, you gotta play the half life series. I think he's a plot device.
and no, i wont elaborate further because i cant. but thats what I think he is.
There are currently 29 episodes. I watched them all in one sitting cos it's so damn awesome. And yeah, that happens to me too. Once Slender Man gets into my head I'm afraid to open my eyes let alone leave the room or something.Irony said:It doesn't so much scare me as give me that extreme paranoia. I'm hesitant to leave me room at night. I'm afraid of looking out the windows. I don't even like to look into the dark corners of my room. Because he might be there. Remember, he might only exist because we think of him. Now try not to think of him.Ponce Master-General said:Well if you don't like scares then you shouldn't watch it. I got through 10 videos before I stopped because I ruined too many pieces of underwear. I was gonna continue watching it, but just the reminder of some of those videos sent me severe chills down my spine. Plus, Freeman's Mind is better.Irony said:Nope. And I don't think I ever will. If I do, it wouldn't be a night. As much as I say that the kind of horror invoke in the Slender Man mythos is better than the kind of horror you get from jump-scares or gore-fests, I'm not a huge horror fan. I could barely get to sleep the night I learned about Slender Man and I didn't even watch any of the videos. I just read abit about him on TvTropes. Dude's made of High Octane Nightmare Fuel.Ponce Master-General said:Well I heard Slender Man can turn his tentacle things into anything, so it's possible.Irony said:I don't know if that makes G-Man more scary or Slender Man less.Ponce Master-General said:I like to think he's Slender Man (if you don't know what that is, look it up at once). He's omnipresent and seems to have control over space and time when he wants to. And his physique is tall and slender-like, but I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine.
And thanks for the Slender Man thoughts. I needed to get to bed tonight...
From what I can tell though, he's definately not human. Something along the lines of Slendy does make sense. Although a little less horrifying (at least at first glance). Interesting idea.
Oh yeah, have you seen the Marble Hornets videos?
Of course there's always this to kinda take the edge off it.

And Freeman's Mind is really good. I need to get around to finishing what's out there.

Aw man that's sad! But each to his own. Half Life 2 is out on original xbox and so are ep 1 and ep 2. They're sussed for backwards compatibility too if you only have a 360. Not sure if it's out on PS3, but I think it should be, seeing as PS2 recieved counterstrike.emeraldrafael said:I dont do PC gaming.Timmaaaah said:He's more of a plot driver than a plot device. Eli Vance knows who he is... He stops Gordan from dying in the Citadel explosion (though I guess the Vorts can too) and he saves him when the Nihilanth explodes. Impossible for him to be a hallucination unless Freeman has otherworldly teleport powers that only awaken when he's almost certainly going to die.DanielBrown said:All the exposure to radiation caused Gordon to develop brain tumors and...stuff. G-man, and everything else, is just a hallucination!
