G4 Gives Uncharted 3 a 4/5: Madness Ensues

Ahhh, this reminds me of CliffyB whining about Gears 3 getting an 8/10, or should I say "hate out of 10?" Cliffy is truly a big baby.

But then again, its kind of a "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" type thing. I will never play Uncharted, most likely, and while I have no doubt its a good game from what some of my friends say, I wont be able to get a review from the most important critic in my world... ME.

I will tell you that the oh so important critic I just mentioned thinks Gears 3 is a 10 out of 10. It improved on everything, went out with a bang, and the multiplayer is far better than two. Also, there are medals that will have people like me playing for a LONG time. Cliffy B's words did not influence that score, his work did.

The bottom line, people shouldnt put so much weight into ANY reviewer except for the most important one... their own selves.

You're missing the point, a reviewer thought Gears 3 was a great game, gave it a great score, 8/10, and CliffyB started to whine about how an 8/10 isn't good enough. Or maybe you're not missing the point, maybe you're one of those people who think that an 8/10 is bad.

No, I got the point, I was just adding that it doesnt matter what critics OR CliffB say, or think, that it ultimately comes down to us. Sorry to be confusing, when you are doing several things at once AND trying to type out a message it can be messy sometimes.

I will never understand the people who like him, any one who can fail a JRPG for being a JRPG is a moron, and yes I'm biased. Also, reviews are opinions. I personally read them to find out how certain mechanics worked in the game. I ignor the numbers unless if there are really low, then I look into it more. Hasn't failed me yet.

The best comment I read from that is that the reviewer "Has lost all credibility for giving it only a 4 out of 5."
Ha...must be a fun world for these crazy people to live in.

*sigh* the game is getting great reviews all over the place..regardless of that even, why not just wait and see for yourself about the game? i don't get why people rage so hard over reviews like that before the game is open to the public even.. on top of that, since when does a GOOD opinion affect your stance on the game that harshly?

still, can't wait to play it, probably gonna spend at least 20-30 hours on it over the first week alone =]
