G4 is complete garbage, no surprises here. What does this have to do with video games though?
I think they've done much worse crap than this before...

To top it all off, that chick's boobs aren't even that big.
*To top it all off, that chick's boobs aren't even that real.
Fixed.

OT: But he's got a point. I'm confused about what this has to do with games, too. And since when did Attack of the Show become sketch comedy? I thought it was meant to have a few goofy computer moments and mostly be tech, comic, and videogame babble. Besides, no one will take seriously a channel that claims to be all about tech and games when they mostly showcase Cheaters and COPS.

Also: Yeah, a lot of super heroines have outfits that show off their body as do superheroes. Making a skit about a superhero beating down baddies with her large breasts or his bulging biceps is as clever as burnt toast.

Folks, what can I say? All we've worked for. All the time we've spent trying to prove our maturity. Every campaign, every forum post, every unit of time. They have set us back entirely. Because of this, we're going to have to start all over again, but this time with G4 constantly making fun of our apparent lack of girlfriends and our weight levels and love of cheetos and DND. Yep. Well, we've got 20 years to get back now people, so let's make it happen.
I think you're doing more to "set 'us' back" with this rant about a video of a silly super heroine who attacks villains with her boobs than they are with the video. That video didn't even have anything to do with video games. Meanwhile, here's you, having a rant about boobs that sounds on par with Fox News saying that Mass Effect is a porno.

Maybe I don't want to see us all seen as mature so much as I don't want the "Cheetos eating DND playing fat creepy guy" or "Racist sweary 13 year old sqeaky boy" stereotype thrust back on to us like an old rag full of toilet water, and it seems like g4 is doing all it can, subconsciously or otherwise, to bring that stereotype back at full force and want to reduce gaming as it is back to something considered as a complete waste of time. Now, I don't want to found a nation either, but the anti-gaming people are gonna use this crap as ammo against us one way or another. They'll say it is only for kids and nerds and therefore shouldn't have controversial material in it and will try to ban all those games and we'll be right back where we started.
...

You must be out of your mind. You are reading way too much into it. It's just a silly little video that only has ties to video games because the people who made it play them. So what? People who play games also do lots of great things that can be mentioned again if we step into the strange world you think in where people attack gamers over a silly video clip. But really man, get serious. Nobody is even going to associate that with gaming if they don't know what G4 is.

This. There is no "we" or "us" in the first place.

The only group that G4 made look bad with that video is G4. And not because boobs OH NO NOT SEX THINGS, but because it simply wasn't funny. Oh ho ho, she attacks one guy with her breasts and then another guy does crime on purpose hoping he will get boobs in his face too, but unfortunately for him it backfires and he gets arrested instead. That was so clever, I never saw it coming! To quote Yahtzee, "My thighs are now thoroughly tenderized from all the slapping."

Why do we need to be accepted by G4 to be mature? Fuck them, and to anyone else to calls us out. Reinforcing negative stereotypes is sign of immaturity in them!

Holy...

First, I'd like to say that I like G4, so say I'm a complete moron(or w/e) for liking anything on there. Learn to roll with the punches(From wherever it comes from; trolls, media, etc.)

Don't have such thin skin, learn to laugh at the stories Fox and everyone says about games. We know their not true, so why do we get worked up.

W/e, fine, ***** and moan everytime someone says or does something to or about games. Imma be watchin the news, laughin my ass off when the next ridiculous story comes round.

And I don't expect many ppl to agree with me, I don't care if anyone agrees with me, imma be here, laughin all the way.

I love you for this post, I hate how people think a common hobby is a culture, especially since our "culture" seems to be at a constant war with each other over our choice in consoles or games. Do people who collect stamps want to stand out because they have a hobby? Do they insult someone over a certain stamp they like? Heck no.

Thanks for being someone smart on these forums dude. Even if you get a lot of hate for it.
Quoted for truth!

while i would argue for the exsitance of nerd and gaming culture (how do you exsplan this site if not for it?)i don't think it is some kind of digital cabal full of intellectual games who never swear while playing FPS's online.

as games become more main stream, even including your mom (who wouldn't want a few milfs around), gaming itself will become generally excepted.

just remember that the 16-25 demo that grew up with Nintendos and SNES's is starting to spawn noobletts, born with iPad apps in their cribs.

This might be true if anyone took G4 seriously...
Pretty much. G4 is a joke now other than Sessler's Soapbox and Feedback. Adam Sessler handles the site so you can find some decent content on there. As for the television shows... shit's been going downhill ever since techtv got bought out.

Ehh, I used to have a warm liking of G4 when I was younger. But ever since they changed things around considerably and removed basically everything that made them unique, I lost interest as quickly as the channel lost a fair chunk of its fanbase.

Come on, people stopped caring about G4 when they canceled Arena/ canceled Cheat/ made X-Play more serious/ fired Olivia Munn.
i support all those decisions, except the x-play part. but i agree, g4 is irrelevant. i havent watched it in over 4 years...in fact until this thread was posted, i didnt even know g4 was still on the air

Who says we all want to be mature?

Frankly, I find mature people to be rather dry and boring. Way to generalize all of us as a group

This doesn't have anything to do with games. This is just a stupid video on youtube made by morons, and ,man, there are enough of of those out there.

Real maturity comes when you no longer feel the need to prove it. That's how we know gaming culture is not quite there yet. When the real maturity happens, everyone will just be able to shrug off stuff like that.
