I just think these threads are a bad idea. Like, I get why they're doing them (though I really don't agree with them, but whatevs) but this is just bait, and these kinds of attitudes aren't really going to make things different.

Well, it is a joke, but it also seems as if it's supposed to be a passive aggressive jab at a certain event that has been going on for the past several months.

Eh, I think this one's just silly and weird enough to avoid it. It's like, is this a joke? Is this making fun of someone? Maybe, but I can't quite tell who is meant to be the butt of this joke, if indeed the joke has a butt at all...do I have a butt? Am I a butt? What is going on? Also OP's history of similar silly threads probably pours a bit of water on any fires.

Honestly, I don't give a damn about the attempted shitstorm, but it really grates my cheese that people are titling their 'satire' in a misleading way, as though it was a piece actually by the Escapist. I know that the forum threads don't usually say "Escapist Featured Content" or "Gallery of the Day", but it's still very bait-y. At least when Psychic Taco does it the tongue is more firmly in cheek and it's clear that he's not trying to start a fight or pretend that he's with the Escapist in any official way.
