Probley the part from watchmen where nightowl cant get an erection, so they dress up and go fight crime...and this gives him an erection.

It just...creeped me out.

It was to show he was impotent without the suit. Remember one of the main themes of both film and comic was to talk about how disturbed you would have to be to actually go out and fight crime as a vigilante.
