"Uhh... Sure. Thank you Samus. I wouldn't even know how to hold one of these things." Samus handed the gun to Sheik. He held it loosely and was beginning to shake.

"Okay, let's get away from here to a more empty space." The two of them went to a corner of the base.
"Okay, wrap your bottom 3 fingers round the handle, put your thumb on top or the barrel, yeah, like that, and put your pointing finger in that hole there. Right, now to fire, pull back on the switch at the end of the barrel and then pull the trigger. Make sure you have a firm grip on the gun and brace your arms, as it will push back into you and could cost you some accuracy."

Sheik held the gun and aimed at the tree. He was hesitant to shoot the gun but finally he pulled the trigger. The recoil of the gun made him fumble and fall to the floor. He dropped the gun and it landed a few feet away. His eyes were wide and his mouth slack jawed.
"That was terrifying..."

Samus ran to Shiek. "It's okay, it's okay. Everyone feels that recoil at first, you get used to it over time." She helped lift Sheik back onto his feet. "Don't worry, you'll get better over time."
She managed to get him up on his feet eventually "Do you want to give it a bit of a rest before trying again?"

Samus helped Sheik to his feet. His hand was throbbing a bit because of the guns recoil. "Thank you for the help Samus. But I think I will continue to practice shooting. If I take breaks then it will only prolong my very necessary target practice."

"I am very glad to see that I am making some progress. Even if it is not a drastic improvement. I will continue to practice."

"Trust me, for someone who has never even seen a gun before, that is a drastic improvement. It took me ages to get fully used to the recoil, and it always does whenever I try a new gun, as they all act differently. Just keep on attempting to fire with that gun for now and later I'll introduce you to other types, when we've got more time."

Zelos wandered out of the medical tent, still a little dazed. He saw Samus and Sheik over by a tree, shooting a really weird contraption that made a loud noise. "What kind of magic is that thing," Zelos asked Samus as Sheik seemed to be concentrating.
Samus noticed Zelos come over and ask her a question. "It's a gun. The seargent's insisting everyone uses one, so I'm training Sheik, who doesn't have any experience in them."
"What is a gun?" Zelos asked, clearly confused, "and why would we need to use something that noisy and cumbersome. What is wrong with our swords?"
Sheik didn't realize when Zelos and Yoshi walked in while he was practicing. His pulled the trigger but nothing came out(Its out of ammo). He turned back to Samus.
"I fear I may have broken the.. gun. Sorry, I forgot its name for a second." Sheik handed the gun back to Samus. He saw Zelos standing with a confused look on his face.
"Oh, hello Zelos. The sergeant saids that we need to use these contraptions to defeat the enemy. And while I much prefer to use my chain whip and teleportaion, I would rather not have the already insane sergeant yell at me even more." Sheik walked back and patted Yoshi on the head.

Samus turned to Zelos. "Swords are useful, but we're going to be fighting enemies who will cause damage unless taken care of as far away as possible. They may be noisy and cumbersome, but they're virtually our only way of destroying them from a distance."
She then turned to Sheik, "Don't worry, you haven't broken it, it's just out of ammo. See, there's no more bullets in it." Samus removed the barrel and started to reload it, before handing it back to her.

Emu is going to continue. Sir Psyco Sexy (Scout) and Goatzilla (Wolf) are both going away. So I'll controll their charaters for a bit. FalconKNight (Zelos) is as you can see continueing. GoldenJester (Jhonny) is still a question. I have yet to recievie a reply. And Ragnarok (Ratchet) is still unncertain. We're still talking

After some seconds, the sergeant went in right after them. "So. What's the update? What are everyones positions?" he asked them. They looked nervously at eachother the updates! We completely forgot about them during gun-training
"Don't tell me you di-" the sergeant slammed his fists into the table "I can't even give you a simple order? Samus, I had expected this from you, but Sheik? What are you giving me? Allright. Check with people, and come back. Get real resulst this time ..."

"Sheik, quick before he explodes!" Samus yelled before legging it out of the tent and running off to the troops to see how far they are to being ready.
