As Samus looked down at the maps, the sergeant looked at Sheik
"Ah ... Yes, we're just about done, so I guess I could let you in on it" He looked Sheik over "You're obviously not in any way military trained, so I'll make it easy for you." the sergeant took out the main map, wich showed tha camp, and a bit of highway on both sides. It also showed a drawing of fallen buildings to the north, and a factory to the south. "Look" he said while pointing at all the four diffrent strategic points. North, west, south and east of the camp. "We defend these areas." he said slowly while looking at Sheik "Samus defend this" he said while pointing at the middle of the camp "You know what 'defend' means, right? I mean I can make it simplier for you, if you want to" the sergeant reassured Sheik

Sheik was offended by how the sergeant spoke to him.

Does he really think I'm that slow?!?

Sheik didn't show his anger. He had taught himself to calm no matter what the situation. Sheik spoke in a calm and sturdy voice.

"Yes sir. I may appear untrained and slow to you but I assure you that I know what 'defend' means."

"Good" the sergeant replied "You also seem to have your manners well maintained. That's good." the sergeant sat down on a chair with pen and paper, and began drawing something

About five minutes later, they heard some sparkling from the radio *kherrr krhk! kreeee* "Father, come in!" *krshsh* "Yes, this is father. What do you want, my son?" the radio operator said into a mic. *krhaaaa khmbsh* "Yes, I'm *krerer* green Volkswagon, and *kerhbesh* picking you up in an hour. I have *shombsh* walking".

The radio operator got a terrified look on his face. "You're allways welcome, over and out" he responded before heading over to the sergeant. "You heard that? They're coming. Foot troops. They're on the oute security line in west"

The sergeant looked up from his drawings. "Allright!" he said has he layed down the drawing on the table. He looked at Samus "Who's the second in command for you guys? We need something to organize this" as Sheik looked at the drawing on the table, he realise that it was a half-drawn Futanari. "And can someone get me an update on the hospital tent?" the sergeant walked out of his commander-tent and spoke to no one in particular

Curious, Samus turned to Sheik.

"Hey, aren't you the second in command?"
Sheik pointed at himself.

"Ummm. I'm not really sure. The way that the sergeant spoke to me I wouldn't imagine so. But I would be honored if I was."

"Well, he has been quite patronising to me as well, saying that women can't strategically plan and stuff."

There was a bit of an awkward silence. "Did we actually set a second in command? As I wasn't on the train at the start."

Sheik turned to Samus and chuckled.

"I don't think the sergeant is right in the head. He's a fool to talk to you like that. Anyways, I can't remember a thing from the train. Everything has been happening so fast that its hard to remember anything."

Snip due to unrelevancy
First off. Sorry for not responding in a PM, but my messaging isn't working right now.
Goatzilla: You're Wolf, right? As for now Wolf is in the camp, without anything in particular to do. If you read the previous posts, you can see that I placed all of you in the camp, and continued the storyline of some people (Stiles, Sheik, Samus, Zelos and Scout) as well as encouraging those who did not participate in this story-line to wander about by themselves, interacting with NPCs or investigating parts of the camp.

But if you're sure you don't want to continue, no problem. You're not forced to stay =P
ust tell me if you're certain that you want to leave. And if you are - tell me whether you want your character killed off in the upcoming battle, or if you want your character killed off in the next fitting event.

GoldenJester: I see you haven't been posting much lately. And I just wonder if that is because you want to leave or there is something else that keeps you from posting. Please inform on whether of the two it is. Same as with Goatzilla, you can choose where you want to hvae your character killed of in the even of you leaving this RP

The sergeant went into the hospital tent, and had a look at how the situation was. "Oh my .. You're an excelent doctor after a-" the sergeant saw the passed out Zelos on the ground "Bha! Wussies not able to see blood and staying counscious. Any way. Say, doctor ... Would you like to stick around as my permanent doc? We could sure use it. Hopefully you'll survive longer than the last ones ..." the sergeant said with a blink

I was thinking about asking what actually happened to Goldenjester, since I haven't heard anything from him in ages. Do you want me to PM him for you?

Samus laughed with Sheik. It was the first time she had done so for a while. She was more of the silent type.

"Yeah, I mean, when you've got a missile launcher stuck to your arm, people don't usually look down on you. But yeah, I can't remember much either. I mean, my life is hectic anyway, but I've never been hunted this much. And I've had times where everywhere I placed my foot another hi-tech security system went off. It's just that, normally, I can tell what has to be done and it's fairly obvious. Here though, I know nothing about this world. I can't predict anything. The result being I concentrate too hard and I forget almost everything. If it wasn't for my logbook I would barely remember the technology that is stored inside my suit."

Zelos blinked back to conciousness. "Remind me to not so that again," Zelos said to no one in particular. He stood up and looked at the man he had helped. His wounds looked to have been healed fully with no scarring. I guess without the ambient magic of my home, my magic uses my energy to work, I'll need to remember that in the future Zelos thought to himself. Seeing the "General" in the tent, he turns to him and asks, "So chief, what's the plan?"

Yeah, if you could do so, it would be great. Perhaps Goat also ..
As a response to Zelos' approach, the sergeant moves his eyes of the doctor and looks straight forward at the wall. The sergeant had disbelief in his look
"Chief?" the sergeant asked slowly. "Allright, could someone please remove this kid from my sight? I'm trying to have an adult conversation here."

Yoshi sat there, absolutely nothing to do, he didn't understand why his friends couldn't convince the man to let him in. Oh well, nothing could be done and Yoshi dozed off.

"You don't know what you are throwing away. Or even why - If"

Yoshi awoke, he looked around and saw an odd floating machine fly past him and into the base. As it entered there were screams. Propa something? Prop... propaganda. That was the word they were yelling, the people ran into their tents and pulled the heroes in with them

Yoshi followed the robot, the base was now empty and Yoshi was able to run free. The robot kept talking, it seemed to be some sort of recorded message.

Yoshi grabbed a grenade and looked at it, he tried to eat it and accidentally pulled the pin. He spat it out.

"Yuck!!"

The grenade flew off the freeway and blew up.

"Oops."

Tell me thats good.

Samus was just sitting with Sheik, wondering what was going to happen to all of them.

I have no idea how to predict what this outcome will be, but if we're lucky, we'll hopefully make it out.

She turned just to see Sheik walk off somewhere. She sighed a little.

Thanks for the PM.

'tsall good. Thanks. I'll proceed to post my post now =P
The sergeant were about to ask the doc for the third time when he heard "propaganda warning!" he looked outside to see people running inside the tents, before he closed the one he was currently in "damn it" he mumbled to himself

".. Or even why- if you do know why, then I'd be more than happy to hear. Because I have no idea" the flying loudspeaker stopped in the middle of the camp. "I think they're on to us. Shush! All of you" the sergeant said to everyone in the tent.
"This isn't just some petty choice that won't really matter. This is a choice that will alter your life. For better of worse, depending on your decision"
The sergeant silently shaked his fist towards the roof of the tent. "Think of what you are throwing away - is it worth it? We're not here to hhurt you. Nor are we here to supress you as some has accused us of. I have a question for all of you - how can you possibly not want our services? We are here to satisfy your needs. Nothing more"

"bullshit" the sergeant mumbled

"Imagine - you don't have to work any more. We will provide food, shelter and entertainment. We are here for you not against you. Why you would want to engage in combat is beyond us. You have to realise that humans are helpless without a leader. Humans are like sheep. The term "sheeple" is very describing. We are here to provide that leadership. We'll make your life perfect. We're not asking you to give up - there is nothing to give up. We're only asking you to accept our aid. Our services. Our help"

The sergeant were boiling with anger. He rested his head in his hand

"You seem to have chosen a faulty leader. You may not have notices, but this is no simple civil war with the same amount of casualties on both sides. You're fighting a super-power. It seems to me that your leaders have sent you in a war to die"

The last word left everything silent. The robot were starting to fly away from the camp now while still preaching its propaganda. They could here it go weaker as the loudspeaker went further and further away "a suicide mission if you will. I ju.."

people started coming out of their tents again now that the loudspeaker were gone

Sheik was sitting with Samus but got up and walked out of the base and saw Yoshi.

"Yoshi. Hello my little green lizard friend. Where have you been all this time?"

Sheik got walked over to Yoshi. He patted him on the head and smiled.

"Well it doesn't matter where you were. I'm just glad to see that you are safe."

Some of the protagonists were coming out of their tents. Some of the residents were as well. Before Sheik could say anything more to Yoshi, they heard a mans voice "it's right! We're on the wrong side, people". One of the women went up to the soldier "Steve! No. Don't do it!". "Yes! Yes! I shall do it! I'm through with fighting against the good side - I don't want to be on the bad side"

The sergeant came out of his tent with an angry grimace. *chick-kit* the sound of a gun being cocked had no affect on the soldier. "I'm through with it! I'm going to fight for the good side. Don't worry, I'll leave in peace" the soldier started walking away "Seargent, no!" *blam!*

The man called Steve had a bullet-hole in the back of his head. The seargent were behind him with his gun lifted, and smoke pouring out.

He looked everyone over and said "anyone else?"

Samus just stood and watch the seargent kill one of his own men. This "Steve", who had fallen to the propaganda of the machines, like you would succumb to a hypnotist, now lying on the ground, can't recieve any help. Remined her of how helpless she felt when the pirates first attacked her planet. She didn't usually like to think back to that time, but she had to in this case. Her mind wouldn't let her think of anything else.

Maybe the machines wanted this she though to herself. This could easily portray the seargent as a bad guy, and could reduce our numbers quickly. This could be a bit of a problem.

Yoshi like Shiek, he was nice to him and treated him with respect and love.

"Yoshi" he purred.

Suddenly a man started talking Yoshi looked at him as he began walking away from the base. A gunshot went off and the man fell to the floor.

"Gah!"

Yoshi ran over to the man, a clean shot through his head, he looked up and saw the captain looking him in the eyes.

"I said I don't want no green horses in my base!" he raised his gun.
