You know. At first this was doing nothing for me. I was even getting kind of annoyed with Bob, preferring when he was hit and run with his dialogue and appearances. And then.

VERY SLOW BUILD UP. With running jokes that stopped being funny, however I did get a laugh out of the ending with Kevin.
I can see this next season of Game Dogs will be better then the first, though I quite liked the first season.
I never really understood why people get so down on this show, possibly because everyone got the false impression of it being a caterer to the furry crowd (I still don't know what the hell a furry is, I should go ask the Swat Cats) when it's theme seems to be made mainly for spoof purposes, being able to disguise people like Richard Garriott so they can bust his balls without potentially ruining Escapist's potential future business with him. Also, possibly because it's taken so long to find its pace and audience, combined with it getting allot of hype. In fact, I think all the pre-release hype is why all this negative backlash started.
I'm still quiet enjoying this show, though it's never going to be a replacement for Apocalypse Lane in my eyes, not that AL was a perfect show. And this is the thing, all the serial/ongoing cartoons on the Escapist have to go through a growing period before it knuckles down to find it's groove, hell, the same could be said for most mainstream cartoons.
See, a cartoon only starts to get especially funny once it's established its playing ground, so to speak. Once all the characters are well established and inside jokes are put into place, the show can then start to achieve a greater sense of humor.
Homestarrunner is a good example. You ever seen the first cartoons they made? They're not that good or funny, but give them a year or so to build material and find what works and what doesn't, they turn those same bad episodes into their own inside jokes, as well as have an extremely broad playground with well established personalities to work with, making it one of the biggest Internet success stories.
Anyhow, the show's getting allot better, good job guys, I look forward to more. Try to ignore all the nay sayers.
EDIT: I would agree that the build up is taking far too long, probably wanna hurry up to the good stuff while people are still interested. That season premier with the Russian and the game show was pretty damn funny though, more of that would help this show allot.
I would also agree this show has had allot of hits and misses so far, but I see potential for improving the hit ratio.

O.T. This is getting worse and worse. I've been trying to watch every escapist show, including this one. But that's it, I give up. This is too terrible to comprehend.
