Meh.....

Saying GASP is JUST as bad as saying SIGN. MAKE THE NOISES AND DO NOT SAY THE WORDS. Otherwise it just sounds retarded.

There's characterization here, conflict, and shit actually happened. Thank you for improving the stuff...maybe next they'll leave the break room!

Don't know if you guys were listening or not, but you implemented what I was suggesting in the forums for the episode before this and it's excellent! Keep up the good work!

That was cool, can't make it through some of the earlier episodes but this was good. Didn't get the good cop, bad cop thing.

Umm... there are people in the world that say "sigh" and "gasp" instead of actually sighing or gasping. I do it, myself.

You guys say that means she has no personality, but did you ever stop to think that it might just be a part of her personality? Seriously, if that's your only complaint, then this is starting to get better.
She has no personality because she's got 3 modes a Virtual Intelligence could handle:

1) When someone says something new, ask about it in an annoying tone.
2) When someone states something after a discussion, be negative about it.
3) In other situations, say an emotion instead of doing it.

And yes, if you say "sign" and "gasp" instead of doing it, you are just as irritating and personality-less as Beth is.

there must be a lot of really boring people who watch the escapist for something like this to get such un-negative reviews

the only redeeming feature of this drivel is that it gives me an opportunity to come up with creative new insults and crticisms such as the one you are reading at this very moment.

Please please please sell a squeaky frog as part of the merchendise for this show

I probably got sucked in a little too deep, but now I really really want a squeaky frog

It is nice to see the characters given some development rather than just being faceless puppets for the storyline. I really want to see more of this.

I would like it if the intro was different, otherwise Game Dogs is definitely evolving into something that could be pretty cool.

I think I've made a breakthrough! I think Beth is so negative because they want her to be "sassy." I really don't think of her as "sassy" I think of her as annoying.

I feel like the movement is static. Watching this video, I was bothered by the constant swaying back and forth. Just constantly jerking around. It was a little too much for me. Trust me, it's okay to let characters be still, we can see they're talking because their mouths are moving. People don't sway that much in real life.

I'll will stick with the series for sure because they're starting to get the feeling of the show, but I think some improvements have to be made.

Wow, I can't believe I'm saying this but that actually was marginally entertaining. Not sold but the first glimmer of promise.

Hey, can we actually get a real version of that game? Maybe one of the Zero-Punctation Game Contest finalists could work on it. Keep those "Gamer Dogs" coming Escapist!
I wouldn't be against that. Game Dogs' sprites sheet looks a lot more interesting than the Zero Punctuation sprite sheet. Still the series has not realy caught on yet. Spending a month or two making a game for an audience of a few people does not sound like a good use of time.

I was drawn to this little series because of the anthro dogs and the fact that, except for her tail, Bethany is a definite Brittany, and I happen to have one. =) Anyway?almost all of the criticisms that?ve been heaped upon the cartoon are utterly ridiculous. Nothing could be easier than to sit there and bash anything. If they are honestly serious--which is doubtful since they keep watching the new episodes--I would love to see them make something better. Or even half as good.

Anyone with a sense of humor ought to enjoy this little show, even if it doesn?t literally make them laugh out loud (which it really should.) No, it?s not the greatest online masterpiece I?ve ever seen or anything like that, but it?s funny, clever, and entertaining.

For instance, what?s all this nonsense about the ?sigh? and ?gasp? and all of that? Wow. That is an intentional joke. It?s funny. It?s funny when people say it in real life, too, when it is ALSO an intentional JOKE. A sarcastic type, not a ?LMAO? type. What?s not to understand there?

Sheesh. ?Game Dogs? has been hilarious from the start. The trailer was appealing, Gary?s responses to forum posts were amazing (Gary is a terrific character--a Chihuahua, I?m assuming), and the first two episodes plus the ?Behind the Scenes? were very amusing. The third one is where it starts to get REALLY good; Mr. Yee (a Chinese Crested, no less) was incredible.

From there, the series got pretty much better and better. Hilarious writing and a lot of really great moments. I?m also loving Bob the giant Basset Hound. The main mutts (Shepherd Chet & Terrier Roger) are a good combination that works well with ?the token girl.?

I look forward to more, and I?d advise the creators not to pay attention to the absurd critiques, except for laughs. Sure, some eps are better than others, but the characters are all cool, and for the most part it?s hysterically irreverent. Better than MANY other Internet toons and certainly no worse than most. Besides, wouldn?t we all like a real version of their game?!

severely not liking the dog references or whatever you want to call them, but overall not too bad; I'll give it one more

I'm trying hard. I really am, but I just can't get in to this show... I don't think it's funny. Not even so much as a chuckle. I understand all the jokes; I know where I'm expected to laugh, but it's a no-go.

But I'm going to keep watching only because I love Apocalypse Lane so much and Jon Etheridge does some voicework. I can spare a few minutes a week to throw some support behind him (even though I'd rather watch dust accumulate on a broken tv).
