I found it actually fairly funny, how the writers just had to get the small dog to say "You're faaaah-yeed". Not having a go or anything, I thought that was genuinely funny.

I see a problem. You've just compared Game Dogs to Looney Tunes and Disney cartoons.
Actually, all I was trying to point out was that once you enter into the world of silly anthropomorphic cartoons the whole clothing thing really doesn't matter. Porky wears a jacket yet no pants, Bugs is usually naked except for the times he isn't, Yosemite is fully clothed, Mickey has pants but no shirt, Donald has a shirt but no pants. Clearly there is no "rule", its just done out of design and styling sake. I happen to choose Looney and Disney because its very easy to find pics of them and I am an avid fan. There are however hundreds more that I could have gone searching for, I just didn't. Its just a silly, fun, humorous cartoon and is meant to be just that.

Keep tuning in though! More cool stuff is coming and I think you guys are going to love what we come up with! :)

I'd love to watch this, I really, really would

but every time that ***** (correct term, no hatin') says "grrr" or "sigh!", I die a little inside

Inhale. I was actually mildly entertained by this one.
Pondering. It seems to be getting slightly better every episode though I cannot understand why they say Sigh instead of just Sighing.
Scratch Head. But it seems to go somewhere eventually though right now this ranks somewhere between The Office and actual comedy.
Nod Head. You will eventually get there keep it up and throw in something more out there rather than D&D (2 episodes of that seriously?) repetition kills humour faster than a rerun of Friends.

Since the Escapist seems dead set on making this series work I watched this weeks episode to see if it had improved.

Wow...I'm impressed in the fact that I can't even form an opinion of this episode. It didn't outright suck, but it wasn't really funny either. I would liken it to eating at a food court alone and listening to three people having a conversation at the table right next to you. You're by yourself so the conversation is mildly interesting because there isn't anything else to do beside eat your food, but once you leave the food court you forget what they were talking about after 5 minutes.

So I guess mild and forgettable is better then boring and irritating. As long as this series isn't diverting resources that could be going to better series like Doraleous & Associates and Apocalypse Lane, it can stay in my opinion.

There are a lot of flow issues in this one. The conversation doesn't seem real at all because the voice actors don't play off each other well.

Also, there needs to be more moods. The main characters are always in a perpetual state of calm. It's not helped by the fact that they're only animated with one facial expression each. And I'm not talking about moving their eyebrows around.

To wit: Why isn't Chet more assertive when his ex is brought up? No one says "shh". If he didn't want her to be brought up, it would be a more negative tone hooked onto an aggressive interruption.

And yes, we get it, fiiiiiiiireeeeeeeed.

Why do dogs say "sigh" instead of sighing? Or is it just her?
It's just her I would say, my ex used to do it and I hated it.

Besides, this show isn't getting any better I think this was my last chance for it.

Ehhhhh I gota say when he wanted to roll for secret doors it felt to much like the Unforgotten Realms joke, where Schmoopy searches for traps and than hidden walls when their obviously arn't any around.
Other than that I do agree that this episode was much better. I'd give it a 6/10.

Really ? for me that was the lowest, saddest, creepiest point in the entire episode.

The series is kind of mediocre to me right now. I think it needs to play with the idea that they're dogs a bit more and to make it funny.....if that is the intention.
