Hey, maybe this'll fill the void of poorly-attempted humor that brings the overall quality of the site down that was left by Unforgotten Realms.

It's so weird how Alena Koch's voice sounds so much like Susan Arendt's...

Another great episode folks!

Really, my only complaint is that I think the dog's faces need more emotion.

Other than that, I'm enjoying it.

After reading all the complaints about 'radical' and the speech, I have to say that apparently most people around here have no sense of irony. Which is rather a handicap on the internet.

As for complaints about the intro. . . it's a style, you wouldn't understand (except for the '. . . live audience' bit, that needs to die.). Same goes for the animation (though that could use moar energy / motion, regardless).

The personalities are a bit flat at the moment, but I think Gary was the only one I found unenjoyable to watch. Time should fix this.

The dialogue needs moar balance between the characters (yes, Bethany's boobs are nice, but she can't just be a static cutout off to the side). Also, work on making it feel moar flowing and natural; it's all quite stiff at the moment.

As far as humor is concerned, none of the dog puns made me cringe, and while the jokes were by no means spectacular, none seemed notably sub-par.

Overall, I stand by my opinion that it's a series with lots of potential and a solid basis. Steps towards greatness appear to be rather stumbling and slow for now, so I think Russ just needs to put some real effort behind it, and it'll be set.

PS: Still better than should-have-been-forgotten realms. Fuckin' hell.
Ugh, people that think they're better than everyone else because they "get" the humor are worse than this show. It's not irony, it's just bad characters and bad writing. They could have been trying to go for that, but they missed the mark by a pretty long shot.

And the intro, it isn't style, it's just needlessly long. So I guess I don't get why they made it needlessly long. When you have a six minute show, a minute of it shouldn't be credits. The opening credits shouldn't be any more than 10 seconds and preferably only 5 seconds and then they can keep the ending credits 30 seconds if they want. They can even keep the random bad Gary bit that is completely out of place in the ending credits.

Just like the credits, Gary would be better if he came in smaller quantities. His rant just became boring because he kept going. I know someone could say well, that's his character! but to that I just say then change the character to something that's actually good!

I have no idea why the writer is so in love with Gary, he's not half as entertaining as they think he is.

The writers just need to learn to cut everything down. If that episode were three minutes and contained all the same information, it might have been decent and I might even say hey, it has room to grow.

Even the bit with Bob, he could have been hilarious. I thought he was funny in thing where Gary was answering emails and I thought he was going to be funny in this too. He started out funny, but then he stayed there and then he started talking and then he kept talking.

Congratulations Russ or whatever the name of the person that wrote this, you took something funny and made it boring.

Even the animations reeks of some terrible amateur flash animation on new grounds or whatever the hip flash site is these days. It isn't stylish or anything new and the art itself is bland and easily forgotten.

This whole show just reeks of fail and the first two episodes put a terrible taste in most peoples mouth. I'll be surprised if anyone even remembers this show in 6 months except for the people making random jokes to the insiders.

It's not that it's bad, really... The part with the big dog got a laugh :)

I think it's just that the format demands one (good) gag every two seconds, and Game Dogs doesn't deliver in that particular department. It's just too slow. (And the high-pitch-voiced sword-wielding dog is annoying, but that's subjective).

Good luck anyhow; a backlash of the sort is never pleasant for the author.

Not really hooked, but it as potential. I'd like to see where this is going.

Also, that game sounded a lot like Zelda

The humour is dry, but I rather enjoyed the dry bity humour

Also, Gary has one sexy sexy voice. I could listen to it all day

Still, I felt that the final cut could have used a little bit of tidying up

But I am sure that this show will improve on that as time passes.

Its heart-breaking that so much effort should go into something as boring and unoriginal as this.

Seems my skeptisism during the in your face advertising campaign is fully justified.

Dull all around, characters are unlikeable and Chet is way to cliche.

hmmm.... smelt too much like it was inspired by "The Office america" but with a sadistic boss instead of an incompitent one.

Why didn't they just rip off 'A Dog's Life' or 'Okami'?
Ah, this show could use a little more conflict. How about a British cat in a Trilby hat who makes life rough for the GameDogs with his ridiculously high standards and snarky comments?
dude, screw the games dog a car in a trilbi deserves its own show. Oi! Russ; get on that.

Hmm well wasn't as funny but I suppose this was mainly for the development of the story so I understand. I'll come back for ep.3 atleast.

Also don't use radical any more, used twice in quick succession so it felt unnatural. I know this is a minor critism, but if you look at the level of conversation the other animated show had (Doraleous)it seems quite poor.

Which is turn was inspired by the British Office... (although to be fair Gervais' was consistently funny unlike the American one)

Nope this show doesn't have the spark. Idea dog's story was kinda funny, otherwise very lame show. Very uncreative and dull. Gary's tie aint funny either, it looks like big steaming pile of donkey... well it's irritating. In my opinion this was even worse than the first. My recommendations are cancel this show and do something else with your lives.

...and bring back unforgotten realms.

it was good, it sort of fell apart when chet was describing the game but roger managed to redeem it at the end. GAME DOGS, you get one more week; oh yeah, radical.
