I enjoyed it, though it could be better. Everything was great except the mouths and rapid movement. Just seemed too unnatural to me. (Before you say anything, yes, I realize it's a show about anthropomorphic dogs in a game business. That's beside the point.)

Jon was probably the best in this episode. I can tell I'm going to like Gary.

I absolutely love this show. Its nice to see furries in a positive light. And of coursnerd culture jokes are always awesome. Can't wait to see more. :p
I'm looking forward to more, this show looks like it's going to be allot of fun...
But I really hope we stop calling them furries soon, no disrespect.
xD, people's responses to Furries is a lot like the opening of Borat and what they thought of jews.

Really people, grow up, if you are finding anything wrong with this, it is a result of your own thoughts.
Lol, I think I didn't phrase myself in the right way. I like furries and even if I didn't I wouldn't have a problem with them. I just don't think furries is the correct term for this show (probably is if you get into specifics, I just don't get the impression that was the show's intention)

I will agree that it's like there's a crusade going on against furries. It's not like they've ever done anything to deserve such mass criticism (sure allot of their art is kinky and their costumes are just plain creepy, but despite this, Anime's pretty damn well accepted!) And hell, anthropomorphic characters have been around since Disney, what the hell sparked this giant wave of hatred towards furries specifically? Hell, even anything that resembles furries!

seriously, who even plays that anymore? let alone gives two craps about the "controversy"?)
...the show is taking a crack at all those by juxtaposing that with someone actually getting hurt by his own clumsiness, not due to trying to emulate something from the game.
After watching the episode a second time I for some reason found it funnier, and I think it may be because of what you said. As a pilot episode, when the first thing you see is slapstick you tend to get a bad vibe, but then keeping in mind that it was intentional as an ironic statement clears things up, as opposed to thinking the show was genuinely going down the road of slapstick humor. I also found the writing funnier the second time around, though I'm not sure I can explain that.

Overall I'm much more impressed and would even go so far as to consider the pilot "good".

The "Animated in front of a live studio audience" thing needs to go though.

Got a few chuckles out of me but still has a long way to go. Animation seemed Jerky at some times and the jokes still need some work. But hey it's only a short way from a chuckle to a laugh.

Though there is a big wall blocking the short path called Delivery.

This was good, but it could've been better. Also, if this was Animated in front of a live audience, where's the sound track? Either add a soundtrack or remove the "Animated in Front of a Live Studio Audience" thing.

bad animation, Gary and Chet seem vaguely cliché, I have a hard time believing someone who's apparently so smart would confuse something metal for something gummy like that, but then he doesn't even have a d4; I smiled, but in spite of myself, like with a pun that isn't very good; C-, or C if I'm feeling generous

Not bad, not bad. I just hope they don't pad everything with a dog pun like I think they will.

Also, only a fucking moron would bring a friggin sword to a D&D game.

... Crossbows are much cooler, and you can find them at almost any sports store.

Wow, I will be watching this. This is great. Poor Gary, but at least it was worth 100 experience points.

Some giggles on my part, I'll watch a couple more episodes before I give up on it. Way better than Apocalypse Lane though.
