Elder. Mo'Fo'ing. Wyrm.

Oh, and of course, raging at Demyx in KH2. The most frustrated I've ever been with a game was either that bastard Star Destroyer or trying to finish Tournament mode on Adept in DBZ: Budokai.

Seth from Street fighter 4.

It seems that Capcom doesn't know what "easy difficulty" means.
No joke. That game was like Capcom had, instead of giving me a game, just taken a picture of someone flipping me off and stuck it in the box. First, like you said, they haven't got the slightest clue what "easy" means. I went in thinking, oh, I like fighting games, I'm not one of those experts who memorizes every combo, but as long as I can have some fun just punching and kicking then it'll be good enough for me. But no, I tried that and I'm fairly certain I know how rape victims feel now. Sorry Capcom, I don't want to spend a semester in class learning how to be just less than shitty with one character.

And then they released Super Street Fighter 4 and it was like throwing salt in my wounds, because now not only had they sold me a game that I can't play without memorizing a fucking textbook worth of combos, but there are more characters I can't play even if I do get good, and SSF4 is now cheaper used than SF4 was when I bought it used.

That game and everything surrounding it is just a world of pissing me the fuck off.
I think one character typically has like around 5-7 combos in total (Including Supers and Ultras). Unless you were trying to memorize every single character, I don't think it's that hard.

Empyrea (sp?) on Dragon Quest VIII.
I was really enjoying the game beforehand but beating it just seems impossible. Unlike the last two bosses who had a defined strategy she just seems random.

Trying to play any of the RC vehicle missions in GTA: San Andreas on PC damn near made me quit. The controls were completely broken, and there were no prompts or anything.

Final Fantasy IX. I got to a part where I leveled up Dagger, Zidane, Steiner and Vivi as they would be most useful. Now they are all level 38-42. Then I save and get to a part where 30 minutes of dialogue happens with no saves in between and then a fight. I can't use any of the characters I leveled up so now I have to load my last save, grind for 10 fucking levels and go through all that dialogue and stuff again.

In Lost Odyssey I currently need to level up my mages. Normally this would be fine but I need them in order to defeat my enemies, which have very high physical resistance. Of course they happen to have an "All Seal" spell which makes my mages literally useless in battle and impossible to win a fucking fight!

I hate JRPGs sometimes.

That mortar section in the Bad Company 2 campaign is pretty damn unfair.

Nothing ever made me rage as bad as this though:

I got the Secret Armoury of General Knoxx DLC for Borderlands, and it's so difficult I haven't been able to get through it at all. All of the enemies are advanced Crimson Lance mercs that are a higher level than me, and during one encounter with that ninja miniboss at the very beginning I was killed so many times the boss unspawned, and one of the main plot threads never started, so I think I broke it.

Saints row 2. The ronin mission where you bury the bosses kid. You have to race around on motorbikes while cars try to run you off the road.
All the while trying to shoot the kid off his bike. It was also raining when I did it.
I stoped playing that game for a week. Damn motorbikes.
jump in the car to the right and run his ass over, thats what I did.

The Star Destroyer bit on TFU. Don't get me wrong, it was epic and completely unexpected for me, but Jesus fucking Christ...

It involves a Star Destroyer and a broken controller.

Fuck you TFU, Fuck you.
You broke your controller because of it?!

All you have to do is jump and zap the TIE fighters, then pull it a bit, rinse and repeat. It's not fun but it's not difficult.

Radec in Killzone 2.

The fight isn't that bad, but I was trying to do it on veteran and it became sweat-inducingly frustrating. I eventually turned down the difficulty and selling the game.

Picked up RE5. Played it for 2 minutes.

Remembered what RE4 felt like.

Haven't touched it since. Thank god it's my roommate's copy. I'd be PO'd if I actually spent money on that POS.

The camera for the TIE Fighter bit was horrendous, and for me meant that the SD had nearly re-aligned by the time I was finished. And while actually bringing it down, my game just never seemed happy, making me waste time tweaking my thumbsticks millimeters until it judged it perfect. It was just frustrating, but, true, not particularly challenging. Come to think of it, maybe that's why it was so frustrating: it was something that I should've been able to do with considerable ease.
That's fair I guess.

They should have made it how it was shown in the trailers; quick and with relative ease, and no TIE fighters.
