Fallout 3's was kind of like that. I really liked the ending, story-wise, but it was sort of anticlimactic.

Borderlands had a pretty boring ending, except for the bit about the Claptrap, but the game was great enough that I don't care.

Bioshock. Easily.

Brilliant game, incredible twist, shitty final quarter and a god aweful ending.

After the famous plot twist I think they just didn't know what to do.

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones. The final cutscene may have wrapped up the three games into a nice package, but the final boss along with the stage afterwards was incredibly disappointing. Half the Boss fight was platforming as is.

Damn ninja's.

I hated Fallout 3s ending mainly because you cant continue afterwards.

The new Prince of Persia was a pretty bad 'you gotta be kidding me' ending.

Even with the DLC epilogue... eh.

How else do you make a decent PoP boss? The combat system wasn't good enough to get a real, epic boss fight without platforming.

Call of Duty. (That's the FIRST Call of Duty, not Modern Warfare 1).

Ending was predictable as hell. "The Russians win".

I thought it was pretty good. I mean, there has never been any game I have ever played that ended on a sad note. It caught me totally by surprise. I loved it.

Hey, I loved MW2's ending. I bashed that X button until my thumb started hurting. When finished I was so satisfied I bought three months of LIVE out of pure victory rush.

I also liked Bioshock's ending. The good one anyway, never finished it a second time.

One I didn't like... Tough one, 'cause I'm a sucker when it comes to this. Easily entertained.
Oblivion pops into my head for some reason. I guess because of all the trouble I went through to reach the climax, and then he just, well;
Sacrifices himself to save humanity.

Bah!

With broken steel there is no ending. Asscreed 2 was one of the worst endings

Hitman Blood Money

Awesome game.. Replayable as hell, but they pretty much tell you how the game is going to end after the first mission...

You should play more things. Especially anything Team ICO does, has done, or will do

I haven't gotten any of the expansion packs for Fallout 3.

And don't you dare talk bad about the Asscreed 2 ending.

Fable failed with the "epic battle" but yeah else wise the end of arkham with its out of character confrontation with the joker JUST to have a big fight ending, on a diff note though i did really like the ending to HL2 and that didnt have a big boss confrontation :D

I believe there's a TV tropes thing for this, I can't remember what it's called.

The Longest Journey, much as I do love it, had a pretty anti-climactic ending. As did the Myst series I believe.
Yeah... at the end of Myst 5 (spoiler warning) you pretty much fucked no matter what you did.
But... it kinda worked, actually...

The worst ending for me was Bioshock, actually. I loved that game right up until I unlocked the "evil ending". And then I watched the "good ending" on youtube. Either one had little to do with anything you had done in-game... and well, here's to hoping that they don't make the same mistake with the second one.
