Has a game ending ever made you sad?

Metal Gear Solid 3's ending made me really sad, he finds out that the government's been using him all along, and they made him kill the Boss just so they could cover up something that went wrong and get their hands on a lot of money.

Red Dead Redemption's ending made me REALLY sad for a while.

Spoiler warning dude. Thanks for ruining MGS3 for me.
Personally, I found Persona 4's ending to be sad, but then I found out that there was a "True ending" and the first time I got the neutral/normal one.

I believe I speak for many people when I say that manly tears were shed at the end of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness. I mean, you could feasibly have a somewhat melancholy end to a Pokemon game, but this was absolutely heart-wrenching.

Fallout 3 vanilla, since it was so unexpected and kind of touching.

Screw you guys, I thought vanilla Fallout 3's ending was better.

The endings of Silent Hill 2. just the voice over when you see the full letter she wrote makes me cry.

The most recent one for me was probably Red Dead: Redemption. Really didn't see it coming as well...

MGS4 made my eyes water on a few occasions the ending being one. I love that game.

I just finished inFamous 2(like 10 minutes ago) and got the good ending. Christ that was sad.

Yeah, I know that, but it doesn't make your partner's reaction to your disappearance any less sad.

I thought FFX's was pretty sad, but that was only because of Auron ='(. Can't think of any other games that made me depressed.

Halo Reach's ending, say what you want about the halo series and Noble 6's bland character but seeing a whole world destroyed all of your comrades killed and then fighting till the end, I think that is pretty sad

Both games had really sad endings, even if you got better afterwards. I mean, for a Pokemon game it's really damn sad. I remember Time/Darkness being rather dark too.

I thought the ending of MGS4 was terrible, well at the time I didn't mind it but now I look at MGS4 with nothing but hate and loathing.
You hated it all? Even the Shadow Moses bit? I've never even played MGS1 but it made me sad.
