Game endings that made you sad

it's hard for me to take any game seriously because I'm the guy that drives vehicles off cliffs, teabags every kill, only uses his knife, sometimes doesn't even bother to kill the enemies, and fails to even show up for his cutscenes leaving the characters talking to air.

Crisis Core was the most disgustingly sad game ever.

And to add insult to injury,it's because I failed at the final Madison scene because the Sixaxis betrayed me. Then to add insult to insult the trophy I got was called So Close...

The fact that fallout 3 had no definitive ending im happy to still get to play with the DLC but the whole experience would have felt more complete if i could have just destroyed vault 87 and killed all remaining super mutants. Now i'm stuck with an endless stream of super mutant overlords and no way to stop them. Oh yeah and Fawkes should have got his ass in the F****** in the purifier! or Charon...I would have been happy to pay and escort and underworld ghoul to do it.
Mass Effect 2, mostly cuz id been working my (female) charecter into trying to get with Thane, only to have him die defending Shep and Mordin from those tiny reaper bug thingy's, i felt a genuine pang of guilt as he, still firing his rifle, was obliterated into ash before my eyes as the door closed.....nailed Garrus later to help with the grief. 
The ending of Conker's Bad Fur Day made me sad. Not only that, but it pissed me off. It was the equivilant of Conker lying broken in the pouring rain, cursing everyone around him as he lied stoned in a gutter before cutting to black. THIS WAS A COMEDY, by the way.
Also, a lot of people are saying that the end of Red Dead Redemption made them sad, but I thought it was cool. It was probably the coolest ending to a western that I have ever seen. Just another reason to love Red Dead Redemption.

Prince of Persia the Sands of time. The woman he loves doesn't even know who he is anymore. So sad...

Anyways, pretty much all my answers have been said already, Shadow of the Colossus, Red Dead Redemption, etc.
I am going to say, pretty much every ending for Persona 4 (I guess the super bad ending too) mainly because, no matter what, you leave Inaba and all the people you gained attachment to. This is not technically a spoiler due to the fact, they explicitly state in the beginning this would happen. Still sad though.

Iji (my first run, I just went trigger-happy and failed to save certain people) was horribly depressing, as was the ending to FF9, among other games. Rather mixed feelings on that one, though.
The same is true for the "best" ending of Planescape: Torment. On one hand, it's sad. On the other hand, mission accomplished, so I'm left not really knowing what to think.
Did you know the DLC where you're saved is the third pack? People actualy got so pissed, they did a DLC pack to avoid the catastrophe.TheYellowCellPhone said:
