Just for the heck of it, here's my Guild Wars Warrior/Monk build:
Lion's Comfort, Barbaric Slash, Gash, Dragon Slash, Enraging Charge, Whirlwind Attack, Radiation Field, Resurrect. Mix with 13 points in Swordsmanship and 16 in Strength, add a good sword and shield, and voilà! You got yourself an adrenaline-driven maniac who charges into every mob he sees and is the bane of any healer you might have in your team.
I have two genres - MMORPGS, and Roguelikes.
I loved Guild Wars so much - countless hours I spent buying and selling, playing the market, adjusting characters...I eventually ended up making a Dervish that would use a form, usually with immunities to stuff like poison and bleeding, get healing over time buff to help with all the pain I would shortly bring upon myself, use three AOE attacks (Holy, Ice, Holy) use a skill to end those three AOE attacks prematurely (gaining HP and MP in the process, while setting the enemy on fire, then the third "end enchantment early" skill would
reset all my skills so I could do it all again) all while surrounded. It worked amazingly well against large groups. Problem is...I spend too much time playing the market, and almost no time actually playing the game. Sad.
As for Roguelikes, I love the concept, but I suck so bad - I hoard items like crazy, which means games like Baroque make me stare at my menu for 5 minutes deciding which item to throw away. (And don't get me started on my Fallout 3 hoarding...)
