I wan't the portal gun, and those fancy leg things so I don't die by falling.

Also does regenerating health count as a game item?

A gun... That shoots shurikens and lightning!!! (Painkiller) Also, that stake-launcher with an inbuilt grenadelauncher would be kind of nice (same game).

Aside from that, I'd like every weapon and piece of machinery from Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War (not because of the games sake, but because im a huge buff of Warhammer 40.000 in general, so gimme mah bolter!)

But to ask for something more reasonable and more or less realistic in-game item I'd like to have that push-dagger that Kane sports in Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. It looks insanely comfortable to wield in comparison to normal push daggers, and that fingerloop grip makes it possible to wield a two-handed weapon while keeping the knife really close at hand. Quite the utility weapon!

I've actually searched the web for push-daggers with a sort of fingerloop grip like that but I have yet to find a manufacturer that makes one. Im thinking of perhaps manufacturing one on my own the next time I go to my familys country-home (where we have a reasonably useful machine-shop), since I've acquired a few bits of steel used to make industrial springs (pretty good grade steel in other words, that would be suitable to make a knife out of).

Also, I just want to add that I find that the "buster sword" fron Final Fantasy 7 (and the one in Advent Children) is probably the most ugly and blatantly dysfunctional sword I have ever seen...

Meh, in D&D wishes usually turn out warped for the worst. You wish for a sandwich, and your turkey's a little dry... or you become a sandwich.

That's why I went for the Triforce. It just knows what you want and gives it to you when you touch it. No asinine semantics play or monkey-paw antics.

This might not really qualify as an item, but I want a chocobo. Now that's getting to class in style.

And who needs the double clawshot when you could have the wand that flips things upside-down? The hilarity!

Of course I want a lot of the things listed in this thread, but I'm surprised this one hasn't been mentioned yet:

It would revolutionise warfare I tell ya.

Am I the only person who thinks of the Scribblenauts writing pad? If it works how it said in game (meaning without the copyright restrictions and whatnot) it'd be essentially like giving you console command in real life.

I'll take Ezio's assassin robes for the badassery, a standard TF2 invisibility watch for sneaking around, a Sandvich so I could replicate the technology and end world hunger, and an ASHPD for teh_lulz. Gotta have the ASHPD.

Imagine if Ezio had the Spy's invisibility watch. No-one would be safe with the invisible assassin in town. Mwahahaha.

How could I forget Chocobos. Especially after the botched Chocobo Salesman routine my friends and I came up with.
[Funny story] I was standing outside my high-school about two years ago with a couple of my friends and we started talking about chocobos. Well I started on this tangent about the capabilities of the chocobo as if I were selling a car. A friend joins in and we go the whole nine yards. Landspeed, suggested feeding habits, types suggested for various travel (blue for oceanic and green(? Its been a while) for mountainous travel. The luxurious white chocobo. The glorious gold chocobo. Battle capabilities and racing capabilities. Everything said in a grand fashion while motioning to our obviously completely real stock of chocobos. Somebody steps forward and asks if we could do it again for a YouTube recording and we never could remember how to do it right.[/boring story]
