Bronn, Sandor, and Tyrion for the first season.
Can't wait to get more seasons from this show, and the fifth book is coming out soon.

Noone is going to join me with Jamie Lannister?

Him and his sister are by far the most interesting characters in the books, and so far the show is building him up nicely.

Without the Lannisters there is no game of thrones, so show these "villains" some love.

My favourite is definitely Arya, but I also like Jon and Daenerys. I find those characters to be most interesting to follow. Arya is a character that I find disturbingly similar to my own personality and her struggles to break the societal norms and be what she wants to be is something I find very fascinating.

I haven't read the books though. I might start one day when I get more free time, because the series is gigantic.

I'd have to say Tyrion Lannister, purely for being epic, or Jon Snow. He's one of the deepest characters and his time at the wall is really interesting

I have only read the books but Arya is easily my favorite character. Some people say she's a psychopath but I think she generally has a reason to kill the people she kills (even if it's not always a good reason).

I also like Brienne, Tyrion, Jon and Daenerys from the main characters. And of course there's a ton of great minor characters.

Haven't seen the series yet (curse my lack of HBO!), but based on the books, it's Arya, followed by Tyrion, then a 4 way tie between Jon, Dany, The Hound, and The Kingslayer. Honestly, though, it would be easier to list the major characters i don't like... Cersei and Joffrey... and we're not supposed to like them anyway.

My favorite would be a 'Ser not appearing till book/season 2'.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go smuggle some onions.
High five for Davos love!
Sadly, i'm convinced he won't live through the end of ADwD (remember that ADwD is concurrent with AFfC, so his appearance in ADwD after his supposed death in AFfC doesn't mean he doesn't die), as he's pretty much just a morality pet for Stannis, and we're going to need to see Stannis as evil again before all is said and done.

Yes, she's a psychopath, but she's a frickin' awesome psychopath. And let's face it, it doesn't get more badass than
when she kills the Tickler. Such a brutal, poetic murder. And all the better when delivered by an 11 year old girl.

I have not read the series, and I have only seen episode 1, but I'm gonna go with the crazy looking barbarian gut with the serious eye makeup. I really, really, want to read the series, and then watch it, so that i know more about what the hell I'm talking about.

That one's Khal Drogo for a start. :)

Everyone's favorite characters are Irri and Jhiqui. It is known.

OT: I actually refuse to choose a favorite character because it implies I like other characters less. Even characters that I heavily disagree with or view as antagonists refuse to be two-dimensional or completely unlikable.

In the episode with the betrayal of the hand, Littlefinger, he was just mustache-curlingly evil enough to be awesome.

In ep. 9, Tyrions new bedmate, mysterious prostitute with a mysterious past = awesome, hope they do more with her (I've not read the books).

The series so far, Tyrion Lannister, the little dude steals every scene he's in and real nails the part.

Just finished the series and I will say that 'the Hound' is beginning to be quite interesting, even with limited airtime.

Book series: Tyrion Lannister, Jaime Lannister (bite me), Jon Snow

HBO series: Eddard Stark, Arya Stark

I also think Bronn is pretty cool in both the books and the series

Most hated!
He's cocky like Tyrion, but Jamie just comes of as an arse much more then his broter

Joffrey is a very close second

Jamie doesn't become interesting until "A Clash of Kings" though when he starts getting POV chapters.Anyone who hasn't read the books and is judging him purely from the TV show doesn't have much to go on.All they see is an arrogant dick who's fucking his sister

Cersei is a more interesting character from the start, albeit a highly unlike-able one.

Tyrion is by far the best of the Lannisters imo

Well I've read the books... Hard to say who I like most. I like Daenarys but in the show she's only now becoming awesome. I also like Jon a lot in the book, not so much in the show. In the show, Tyrion Lannister is my fav. He's fucking awesome. But there's also been some cool small characters like that brigand who saved Tyrion at the Eerie
