Chibi Robo: Park Patrol on the DS. My partner had Chibi Robo on the Gamecube and when he told me about it I thought it sounded like a game I might like. Well, for all I know that could still be true, but in Chibi Robo on the DS, you have to play music to seeds to help them grow into plants by using the stylus to spin a record at the correct speed. Probably sounds like a bad idea in theory, but in practice it is nothing short of game breaking. Spinning the record demands a very high amount of precision which means having to try again and again, but you can only try it a few times because each time you do it your battery gets drained, effectively killing you. The entire game revolves (pardon the pun) around playing the record, and after a few tries I just gave up completely.

Was playing Pneumbra: Overture and basically it's not stealthy enough nor combatty enough either way for my liking.

They say stay in the shadows etc, but it doesn't seem to work. Yo have to physically have something between you and the dog. And you can't move.
And you can't be looking at it.
Yeah it always annoys me when you try being stealthy and it fails on you. It's like the game is punishing you for trying to put a little variety in the way you play it.

But yes, especially so when you're SUPPOSED to sneak around.

DA2. So many things ruined it but the major first one was the use of the same god damn maps 3 times with virtually the same enemies. And to block some passes they put what seems to be concrete walls where the doors were(after you've been there once). And in the third time you're in the map you can -open- these concrete doors.

*same map for 3 diffrent dungeons incase someone didn't understand.

Metro 2033.

I played through and got the neutral ending, and enjoyed the game enough to try for the other two endings. However on the second playthrough, the broken stealth mechanics ruined the game for me.

Halo 2, which was the first FPS I ever played,

"When I heard Earth was under attack, I never thought they'd send a SPARTAN!"

Hang on, Aren't there at least another 116 of us? Is Earth so unimportant that we don't even send 1% of our marines in to defend it? Where are those other lazy bastards anyway?

Once I found out about Reach, I was a little embarrassed, but I still wanted to know why every soldier except the Pillar of Autumn Crew is either Australian of Hispanic...

OT: Well I'm gonna have to say FFVIII when basically the entire cast discovers
they all went to the same orphanage and have since conveniently forgot AND somehow all ended up going to the same school, traveling together, and all of them discovering this as a group as well...
That and
Irvine knew the entire time and didn't think to mention it

OT: In Dead Space 2 when
the woman who joins Isaac (I can't remember her name) gets her eye ripped out by a screwdriver and seems totally okay with it.

Modern Warfare 2.

- You can't practice on it due to the excessive amount of bombings, missles falling, and helicopter attacks in general.
- Aiming was better in the 1990's/early 2000's.
- GIVE ME STRATEGICAL PLACES THAT CAN'T BE ACCESSED FROM EVERY SINGLE ANGLE.

Elite Moderation Rooms and terrible community in Combat Arms made me leave it. I now happily play TF2 and Combat Arms for practice.

And also, it didn't quite ruin the game but it's getting on my nerves. Games Arkham Asylum and Reach have text that are frikkin' small on my SD T.V. I hope future devs realize that not everyone have HD televisions... Thanks Vanquish!

I found the infection mode quite disappointing in Combat Arms, but then again I never really played it so they might have fixed it up.

I would like to see somebody make a proper version of that game mode as a nice little extra in left for dead 3 or cod zombies or something.

Roman constantly calling you up in GTA4 was pretty annoying sometimes, but you could turn it off, and it wasn't a game breaker for me, but i've seen a hell of a lot of people ***** about it in these forums.

spore, where the game would automatically populate my worlds with other peoples creatures without my knowledge or consent or any easy way to stop it (or any way AT ALL, cant remember). anyway, after the 6th penis monster race, i was fed up.

and in DA2, a combination of everyone exploding at the slightest touch killing all the satisfaction of gore, and fights CONSTANTLY padded with waves of easily killed enemies, adding a whole new level of annoyance and no challenge at the same time. the specific breaking point was the high dragon battle, which took 45 god damn minutes because my healer died, it kept flying away and sending 30 damn little dragons after me, and was itself still ridiculously easy to kill even without a healer, just taking 500million hits to kill it...and as long as it wasnt out of freaking range spitting homing fireballs until i killed all 300 of its babies.

CAPTCHA FUN: its giving political opinions now... im pretty sure my captcha just told me to 'emancipate tibet'. thats what i put,and it worked...

I shelved Mass Effect 2 not long ago just after I got to that BLOODY annoying, buggy as hell driving section (I got past it and now I'm killing what seems to be an autistic male SHODAN, dunno what's going on there). I'll probably pick it back up again when I've completed Dragon Age 2.

I just got Sonic Adventure DX on Steam. It won't save properly. Until they fix that, I really won't be able to enjoy the game properly, since I'll have to start over...and over...and over from the beginning every time.

Anyone else have that problem?

Farcry 2 ruins the experience of what I personally think is an amazing game by having enemies that take a shit load of bullets while wearing nothing but a tank top and jeans while they blast your face with pin point accuracy. Also all the damage to your car can be fixed with tightening a nut in your engine.

The rest of the game is pretty awesome, graphic, fire, landscape the Jackal's character all awesome.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

Your NPC squad-mates always walking in front of you while you're shooting. REALLY annoying.
If they do that with me, I gun them down.
