Quake, US Navy Fighters, Red Baron, Mass Effect 1, Diablo 1 & 2, Dungeon Siege 3, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Fable, Halo 1 & 2 etc etc.

I only got my 360 3 years ago (yep, the same one is still wheezing along dutifully!), so I first caught up on games like GoW and Halo 3. Usually get 4-5 new games each year and a few older ones. Just started GTA 4 a few weeks back to fill in time until Skyrim and Saints Row the 3rd.

When I was younger it was Donkey Kong Country 3,I did finally end up getting it a few years back via the Wii's virtual console

Another was Okami,It was supposed to come out around my birthday but ended up getting delayed and I just keep putting off buying it.

Then there was FFXIII which I had preordered at game crazy, then the store closed down and I just never got around to picking it up after hearing all the poor reviews,I did end up pick my other lost preorder,Strange Journey.

Resonance of Fate, Enslaved, Persona series are some off the top of my head.

It's easy to get them out of bargain bins, but sadly I don't really have as much time as I used to for gaming.

Meh, I consider it money and time, not to mention my metaphysical rectum, saved, from forceful intrusions.

Oh god, there are so many games I can't even list them all. I still intend to get a lot of them, but Infamous 2 would probably be the most recent.

No more heroes, and Shadow Of The Colossus

No More Heroes because my country has the nerfed version that had coins instead of blood. Im actually going to buy the new PS3 version, but apparently I have to import it.

SoTC I rented, played 8 colossi, and loved it. Searched round for it,and found it was getting an HD collection. That was 2 years ago

And I will play Timesplitters when I can find a decent copy of it

I'd also like to get my hands on a Dreamcast and the SNES and NES for some classic games like Final Fantasy I, Skies of Arcadia etc. I think it would be cool to have them on their original platforms at least for collectors purposes
The Wii has a virtual store that sells NES and SNES games, aswell as others. Also you can homebrew your Wii (look it up) to get SNES, NES, N64 and Gameboy/Color/Advance emulators.

I remember looking forward to AssCreeBro, but I never bought it. Borriwed it off a friend yestersay, it's pretty good. Multiplayer's fun too.

Most of the time I just end up getting it a lot later. I did that with Red Faction Guerilla, C&C 3 and Supreme Commander, and also Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics. Haven't played 2 or Tactics yet, but I'm stuck on Fallout 1 trying to kill this damn Deathclaw >.>

Hmmm, lemme think.. Bad Company 1. Now that I have, and adore, Bad Company 2, I don't think I could take the step backwards and buy BC1.

More recently, inFamous 2. I may pick it up off Amazon when I have all my assignments finished...

Pretty much every major release of the past two years.

I start of excited, and then as news of new bullshit DRM and removed features comes through, my excitement drops until, by release, it hits "Eh, maybe if it's on a really good sale".

i was going to say ico and no more heroes

i recently picked up a copy of sotc and got just about as far but luckily ive got that one to play (although the ps3 really messes with the graphics of ps2 games)

i heard a rumor (although i wonder if i dreamed it) that the vita might do with ps2 games what the psp did with ps1, and if by gods grace that ends up being true then it will be the greatest thing ever

also i just saw that theyre doing a port of street fighter thrid strike for ps3

maybe if sony taps into that huge library of fantastic ps2 games they could finally start to do a bit better in the runnings, maybe not

also, every moment of every day that goes by that i continue to not be able to obtain a copy of godhand, is filled with sorrow

and playing mvc3 makes me want top play mvc2 so very very bad

Back on the original Microsoft Xbox, there was a sandboxy flighty combaty simulatory game.
'Yager', a flight-sim action game where you fly around huge maps tackling objectives as they come while exploring the world from the air.
Played the demo many times, never actually acquired the full game. Which is a shame because it was wonderful.
I can say the same for 'Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge'. Free-roam air pirate sandbox game.

I missed out on these releases but hey, there's a chance they might turn up on Steam or in a bargain bin somewhere in the world.
