None. If a game series is still being sold, it means people are still getting enjoyment out of it, regardless of your difference of opinion as to its quality. What kind of dickish Rousseau-wannabe are you to want to deny them that?
Where better to talk about it than on a gaming website(Yay). Wow, you see a topic pop up two times a week on your sidebar, How will you survive if this keeps going on?! Is there no sanity left in he world!? Who would think, that a person who is brand new here would dare post a topic thats already been done!? Its so annoying that you have to click on the link that pops up two times a week! Don't you wish there was a way you could ignore it, like the possibility of not clicking on every single one? Duration of a series normally means that it is well liked. So a "long" running series that needs to die would almost be redundant; due to the simple fact that the series that you are most likely going to refer to is almost assuredly integrated into a part of gaming culture. Thus you very question is out of context. Now if you were to say "What game do you think needs to die?" that would have been a question that you could then base the question that you have asked off of. In short this is simply my way of telling you to use the damn search button next time.
